So far so good Spz0.. No problems, seems to run well.

I'm loving it so far. I don't want to speak too soon, though...

Only one small bug to report: When trying to change or select wallpaper from the ICS gallery, I get a FC. Not a big deal though.

Joe, I'd like to try to duplicate this bug. What steps are you taking to try to change or select wallpaper? When I open the ICS gallery, there's nothing in there. (Is that because I have to add something to the gallery by taking a pic or downloading an image?)

I spoke too soon; I believe I'm duplicating the same bug Joe is having. I get a "Force close" dialog when I try to set the wallpaper from the home screen by clicking the menu button-->Wallpaper-->Choose wallpaper from-->Gallery ICS

Menu button-->Wallpaper-->Choose wallpaper from-->Live wallpapers works, though.

Menu button-->Wallpaper-->Choose wallpaper from-->Graphics has no images in it for me to test (and I have no idea how to get an image into Graphics to test it with).

I have a workaround, though: the way I set my wallpaper before, which was to open up the Gallery ICS app and set the wallpaper from there.

Okay, just followed your instructions to flash this ROM. When I did it, my phone didn't boot into recovery, so if that's what's happening with your phone you might want to change the wording on that to "may boot to recovery". I'll report back with more as I get using this.

I think it's a recovery bug. Sometimes if you flash a .zip, whether it's updated Adreno libs or ICS fonts, it will reboot back to the recovery. Sometimes more than once, but yes, I think it's a "may" reboot back to recovery. Just something people should be aware of so they don't freak out and try to reflash.

Random question, i know.. But will admire users see this soon or ??

I don't have a MetroPCS phone, or I would port it over. Im waiting on Socal6177 for a MPCS phone, but that is slow goings -- I dont think he frequents the site barely now.

If you know of anyone who wants to donate a MPCS phone to me, please, let me know -- I'd be more than happy to port a proper version over. :)

I give it a go it seems ok. i actually decided to try a whole range of roms, including admire rc3, monster 5.2, stock++, cm7.2, stock eh02 etc. Its probably because they have a launcher on top.

When I put stock eh29 back on and my nandroid backup of eh09 and i get the following on and only on the main screen
channel 30600
sio mode u1 dm usb2 null
s/w version sch- etc etc
baseband ver etc etc
h/w version etc etc
etc etc has the relevant details in.

i keep getting launcher force closures on the eh09 backup.

ive formatted reflashed, everything but it still appears, it disappears though when i flash on a cm7.2, monster 5.2 etc etc.

i found one similar post on xda developers he just took it back in the end so he never found a solution. Bad flash of some sort i guess.

any ideas

I have another question, if you take your phone to a cricket dealer will they actually flash phones themselves.

I would flash the EH29 utility, then do your thing. sounds like with all the rom installs, something got a little wonky on your phone m8. :)

afaik cricket will not flash your phone at the corp stores -- I think the leaked flash utility was maybe an R&D leak? My reasoning behind that was when I went to the corp store to replace my phone, they gave me the EH09 version, and I mentioned it. They said they knew of no such upgrade to EH29. lol They actually didnt know anything about anything regarding the baseband..

Glad this is out. I'll be happy to give it a try sometime here in the coming weeks when I get a new SD card. The good ol' Muve music one Cricket gave me with the phone died not too long ago. Only thing really preventing me from trying this, and I'm kinda lazy about getting a SD card.

Really appreciate your work though, man. Can't wait to have my phone move around a bit faster.

Im surprised, i thought the dealerships would have had access to something, I thought some of them were coming on here and posting things.

I have already tried it but will give it ago again, I was trying to recount what I did in order of events. I do remember some big partition size errors when flashing EH02, but the errros wasnt there when I tested the ROM. First time i see it was when I either flashed Eh29 or did my restore. I dontthink it was yours as i didn that early on.

Looks like some debug menu, interesting how it only appears on the launcher screen.
I have attached a screen shot. Ill keep at it but is not looking good. If anything comes to mind let me know.

A follow up to our other convo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1596592
this is in the stock recovery manager, maybe this is how they do their updates.

I looked up the meid number and its now B0000000 irrespective of flash, so this info is stored somewhere else.
Min is unknown, meid is hex dec number that includes b0000000.

UPDATE I have tried reflashing but it hasnt worked looks like that maybe a permanent feature of my phone o(

I really need the info on your status screens so I can compare and contrast them, maybe this info can be entered again. I just wonder what else its overwritten and its doesnt explain the appearance of the info on the screen.

Looks like qpst or cdma workshop is the way to go.

Update: Ive posted a solution here

1. can you Confirm your meid number is in both hex and dec under about phone, status menu?

2. In the same menu tell me your channel/info is it 30600/0 or 1?
