Hello all.

Another question. Has anyone randomly seen their lock screen and alarm notification disappear?

It seems to happen when I get new notifications. I can see it happen maybe 50% of the time when i get a text, but have seen it other times just disappear when going into email or something. I can always get it back just by opening the alarm program i'm using.

I have seen this happen with the stock moment alarm and gentle alarm. Klaxon will disappear for a moment and re-appear at times when others would have probably disappeared.

For txt i'm using the application the moment came with. using gmail and moxier. not too much notification add-ons minus that except craigsnotifica.

any thoughts? i talked with the developer for gentle alarm and he couldn't reproduce it...

it appears it may be a problem with the alarm proccesses getting shut down and then the way they start back up. so if u have 2 alarm services say an add-on and the stock one, if it starts up the one u use, sets the notifications then the one you don't use sets its notification (which is nothing) so it clears it. question is why are the processes getting killed. and why do they seem to be linked to getting texts (or that could just be the notification).

i'll keep looking. any thoughts would help.

hi guys,

I am the developer of craigsnotifica. By any chance do you think that this could be related with the app?

thanks
rafa

nope i think its the stock alarm every so often will run and when it does, it will overwrite existing data with its own. So say i had an alarm from another app for 8am. then started my stock alarm app, it will overwrite the lock screen with its alarm, even if its after 10am.

Same thing if it has no alarm, if there is one by another app, this one will overwrite it eventually, it doesn't even need to be started by user. Wish i could just uninstall it.
