Root So when's ICS coming?

Very easy.

Download links;

OnlyOne ICS HYFR Rom: Download GalaxyNote/attroms/OnlyOneICS/HYFR.zip at DownloadAndroidROM.com

Follow this guide for the Galaxy Note LTE Galaxy Note Root Guide | RootGalaxyNote.com

You do not need an external SD card for any of this; when they say copy the files over just copy them to your internal SD card.

I'm running this rom as well. For those of you out there waiting on ATT, don't! Between xda, this forum, youtube and others there is enough help out there for anyone to jump to an ICS rom.

I really like the OnlyOne rom and Nova Launcher.

Thanks @thegeek, because of your recommendation, I went ahead and rooted and installed OnlyOne ICS. Finally i'm using ICS and not a slave to AT&T's update schedule! :)

I can't believe how the default launcher in ICS is still so crappy... why do we always have to install a 3rd party launcher? :( Anyway, for now I'm using Go Launcher EX because I know it's just so awesome. The killer feature for me is the ability to add/remove multiple apps in a folder in one go. I hate having to go to the drawer, and individually drag an app into a folder. One-by-one.

From what i've seen in video tutorials and screenshots, it doesn't look like Nova Launcher or Apex can do that. Am I right? I guess I may have to just download the free versions of them and play around.

Since AT&T has been so quiet about this maybe it is because they are ashamed of how much they have lied to us and have decided to update the note with ics and jelly bean in the same release. But I really think AT&T has no shame and they are so used to not telling the truth that they are now unsure whether to take the Note to ics or just forget the whole thing and pretend we don't exist.
I have been astounded that AT&T has been so quiet on this - not a sound and they have missed two deadlines. Maybe it is time to kick them over the side.

I'm using this one now as well. Excellent. There are two files to flash btw..read the instructions carefully, as he hid away one of the files as a 'rest' to see who read the instructions closely.

As for ICS releases, Telus has now pushed back its ICS to late July, and Rogers to late July as well.

Wait, what files?

The only one I found was the ROM. Which was nestled stupidly.

I don't see another file needed.

What's so great about Nova Launcher? I gave it a spin today and I found it way underfeatured compared to Go Launcher.

DUDE.

Go flash the Objection ULCF5 rom, it's NICE! It has the new baseband compared to OnlyOne which uses the ULCE2.

I just finished installing it and I'm liking it.

Oh great, I'm on OnlyOne ICS and find it good, but now you guys say Objection is better? :/

If I flash a different ROM like Objection, will I have to spend tons of time setting up all my homescreens again? Or I suppose if I backup the settings of my launcher, and back up apps and settings with Titanium, then it should be quick, right?

I start over each time.

I take it back; only one issue with Objection; I can't stand his stupid f'n wallpapers he has on everything.

I need to figure out how to strip that crap. He put it on the dialer and it's ******ed.
