Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Link to Jelly Belly, please

[ROM] Jelly Belly v2.1 - 07/04/2012 - [JellyBean] [4.1] - It's all about speed! - [VZW] Galaxy Nexus Development - RootzWiki

Thanks Chief. I downloaded JB1.8 back when I had some wifi, but now I see now I need to grab a newer version.

If I were you, I would flash 1.9 and leave the rest alone. 2.0 screwed up a bunch of stuff; 2.1 fixed it. IMHO 1.9 is currently the zenith of development on that ROM, and it works perfectly on my Nexus. Well enough, in fact, to be my daily driver.

Until something comes out with AOKP-like customizations, this is where I stay. :)

I've just gotten back in the States and I'm itching to check this JB stuff out.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th!
Welcofme back to the US of A Captain Ron. I have your email, and Evan will love what you send for his birthday (whatever it is). I will factory reset my D2 and send it your way this weekend.

You will also get a nice "Thank you" note from Evan just because we have a cool deal.

If you're there alone with your SO.... well, I know what I would be doing in that hotel room (I may be old, but I ain't dead lol).

All kidding aside... sorry you're missing Aerosmith and Cheap Trick. Id give my left arm to see them in concert (and both arms and legs to see Keith Urban... YUM).

Well, we weren't alone, but a shirt on the door serves its purpose. ;)

I've seen Aerosmith 8 times and Cheap Trick once (back in '89 when they opened for Robert Plant on the Now and Zen tour). They've rescheduled for August, so I guess we'll head back up there and do it all over again! We still had fun...a good dinner out, beer pong and movies til the wee hours and slept in til 10 a.m. :)

Happy 4th everyone. Just got off a 14 hour day of training my team on the upcoming promotion for Summer 2...what a day. The wife and her sis got down Merican style and had a great steak and brat dinner for me left over with all the fixings.

What a great, crazy day!

Have a nice one y'all!

jmar

I never saw Summer 1 :(

Thanks Pup! I had a good trip and still not home, but it's great to be back in the USA for the 4th. It's been brutal traveling through Amsterdam, Nice, Florence and Paris. :)

Thanks Chief. I was tempted by the 2.1, but will go with your advice and install 1.9 for now.

Morning everyone! There was no way in hell we were going to see the fireworks, it was just too hot out. There's actually a great vantage point just a few blocks from us. It's at the top of a really steep hill and you can see a lot of the monuments from it and the fireworks (or so I've heard).
Anyone see this new phone?:
Motorola Atrix HD revealed with 4.5-inch Colorboost HD display, ICS and Droid RAZR looks -- Engadget
Looks nice. No idea what that display means though but glad someone besides Asus is adopting on screen buttons.

Good Morning and Happy Independence day a day late! It has been a really busy couple of days. Ran into the Asheville airport yesterday to pick up my husbands cousin visiting from New Jersey and on the way back to the cabin a deer ran into us, ugh! We are all fine and I tell you what, you know those annoying public service announcements that run so long and repeatedly at any given time...well they work. "Don't veer for the Deer" ran through my head and while it is a fatality for the deer, we all walked away unscathed and the car was even drive-able. Count your blessings folks, it can always be a different outcome. :) On another wildlife note, this morning I was awakened by a bat in the house, with the help of the cat, go Smokey, we were finally able to usher him out the door. Hubby and guest have slept through all the fun this morning! Probably a good thing as our New Jersey visitor is a city gal, the deer was a lot for her yesterday and the bat, well lets just say it would not have been a pretty sight, lol. Going to be a busy day, have to get into town to see the insurance agent says and then our second wave of company will be here at lunch time. I really want to flash jelly bean, but i think it is going to have to wait until I have more time. Have a great day everyone!

Morning all! No fireworks for us either, although the temperature never got as hot as predicted. We spent most of the afternoon at my sister-in-law's pool. (They are away :) ) The kids were exhausted, so we just put them to bed and watched a movie instead (Due Date... awful waste of our time IMO).

Gonna be a quiet few days at work, being our regular schedule is 4-10s, today is the bridge day that most people took off, to get a 5 day weekend. Oh well, I like when it is quiet.
