In-store preorder question

My ship date online says July 11th, pre-ordered from a Verizon Wireless retailer on June 24th. My question now becomes, if the phone will be available in stores July 10th, in theory would my phone be available on the 10th? The first phones the store gets in should be allocated toward their pre-orderees if my theory is correct. Anybody have any input on that thought?

I doubt you'll be able to pick it up from the store on the 10th. Odds are by then your phone will be in FedEx's hands already.

It might make sense to call the Verizon Wireless retailer from whom you pre-ordered the phone, and simply ask them if your phone will be available on the 10th. Sure, their response might be wrong, or even dishonest, but they still strike me as being the party best able to answer your question.

True. I was going to run over to the store today and ask them, but was wondering if i could build any hope before I go there. I went to an AT&T store, even though I am on Verizon and played with an S3 and loved it so I'm getting a little more anxious lol
