Willing to make wallpapers

Hey eyebeam..goodness i haven't been here for a long time! (due to exams)
As my Motorola milestone 'died' i now have a nexus one although the resolution is still pretty much the same

But anyway what i wanted was the 4 coloured nexus 'X' on a space kind of background (if it was coloured vaguely purple that would be great) and a half transparent android poking up from the bottom right corner. I dont want the x to be too big and I'll leave the choice of space picture up to you as you always seem to find better ones than me!

Screen resolution on this phone is 480x800 and if you can do this i will be very grateful as always thanks again, its good to see you're still doing this for people

Hey there LaDrOIdBoy, nice to see ya again! Hope the exams went well.

OK, on to business - Here's what I put together for this request. The first one I did with the "X" changed a bit to try to make it a little more unique, and the 2nd is the same thing, but with the standard "X" logo. Hope one of 'em is what you had in mind - let me know.

Thumb previews - do not save!

To save them in full 960x800 resolution - Follow the link(s) bellow and long press the image on your phone until the save option pops up, Then find it in your photo gallery and set as wallpaper. If it looks fuzzy, you may be better off viewing it from a computer, right click and "save as", and finally transferring to you phone via USB or email.

Thanks! i prefer the second one but can you move the android slightly to the right and make him slightly more transparent, and take away the ring that the x is in? Otherwise its perfect. Thanks again!

It's her own painting so no copyright infringement.. I'd think she'd love to have it as her wallpaper.. it's a suprise.

Sure Bradden, no prob. Had to cut just a bit off the vertical to make it fit the Prime's 1920x1408 wallpaper size without distorting the image, but almost the whole image is there. Hope she like it!

Would you ever consider making a feature graphic for an android app?

I have a drinking game that I made a graphic for. But I'm not that good and it came out looking just ok. My concept was to have the Android mascot drinking and partying and having a good time. This is what I came up with:

If you don't want to make feature graphics I understand. I'd take a cool wallpaper about Android drinking instead.

First, thanks for the complement.

I'm not sure how I feel about doing your feature graphic... Let me think about it a bit and I'll get back to you on that.

However, sure, I can whip up a wallpaper for ya. I'll need to know what phone this is for and if you could tell me anything about how you'd like it to look - such as any color preferences, whether you'd like it bright & busy or more minimalistic, that sort of thing - that'd help.

I saw earlier in the thread where someone offered to pay you. You declined saying that you enjoyed doing it and often borrowed parts of others images to make the wallpapers so you wouldn't feel right charging. I figured making a graphic for a commercial app would also be something you might not feel comfortable with. (its free but I do have in app unlockables and ads that I make money from)

But I would be willing to pay if it was something you thought you could make without using any graphics that aren't totally royalty free. I think the Android logo is fair game to use.

Anyway no big deal if you don't want to do it.

As far as the wallpaper is concerned, I'm open to anything. Just something funny with Andy drinking and having fun at a wild party.

Edit: almost forgot, phone is a HTC vivid... Screen resolution is 960

Yeah, those are some of my concerns. I'd have to make everything from scratch, and that's a lot of work. As I said, I'll think it over and let you know one way or the other.

As for the wallpaper, I'll see what I can come up with for you. I'm a little busy right now (house guests coming in this weekend and staying for a week ) so I may not get around to this for a few days. But I'll get it done soon - stay tuned.

In this wallpaper would it be possible for you to rearrange the icons on the bottom and put them on different colored dots? I'd like to have the messaging on the blue, contacts to stay on yellow, browser to be on red and to have the phone on the purple. If you could do this that would be awesome!

Ok, I think I've got what you want, and it should be pretty easy & quick to do it. However, the link in the video description wants me to register to access the files, and well, I don't really want to. So I'm going to PM you my email address (and assume your not one of those fanatical wallpaper creator stalkers! ) and you can send me the full size/resolution original.

Once I get it, I should have it done within a day or so. Fair enough?

Ok guys, here's the deal - I'm kinda busy on the home front just now (see a few posts above) and I've got one I've still got to do ahead of both of you. That said, sure I can do these. It'll just take me a bit (under a week at a rough guess) to get around to 'em.

I'll also need to ask you both a few questions:

What phone are these for?

What would you like them to look like? ex. bright, colorful and busy? Maybe more minimalistic? Do you want an Android wearing the team jersey? Maybe just the team logo centered on an abstract background? That sort of thing. The more you can tell me, the better (hopefully) the end result will be.

And awriternot: Do you want a single UNC and Duke wallpaper, or (more likely I assume) one of each?

Get back to me and I'll put you next in line.
