Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

Same with me Said the 11th, got the shipping email this morning around 10 with my tracking number but nothing comes up on Fedex page. Expected ship date July 8th (TODAY!!!) Cant check credit card activity because I ordered it through a store and paid them on the spot. Hooray discounts!

Got the same email. Preordered a bluish 32GB from a Verizon store on 6/24. Expected delivery on 7/10. Standard overnight.

My order number was only five digits and while in limbo, padding with four, five or six leading zeroes alone didn't work for me. I finally got the shipment notification email and tracking number this morning. With that, I was able to see that the second half of my reference number was my order number padded with four zeroes *and* with a trailing 01. So my reference number format looked like:

A123456_00001234501

My status is shipping email received, have FedEx tracking number, but charge card not yet hit. Ordered 16GB blue late on 06/27 via verizonwireless.com. Could have sworn I was offered overnight shipping but getting 2-day. Per FedEx, ship date is July 8 and estimated delivery is July 11 by 7 PM. I'm no math genius but that adds up to three days on my fingers.

Hmmm, I just delurked. Guess I'd better go introduce myself.

Woohoo! Just got my email from Verizon with the tracking number!

I ordered online 16gb blue 6/24 just after midnight. I was just logging in to check my bank for the charge when the email popped up. I had seen the "+" on Verizion's Order status last night around 9PM, and that my bank had earmarked the funds for the purchase.

Slated for delivery on the 10th:

I'm a little surprised to see "picked up" on a Sunday, but I'll take it! Guess I better hit up Amazon Prime and pick a case!

Same situation as you. However, I got 32gb blue and ordered late on 7/3.

Well, FINALLY! I stepped outside for a bit and came back to find the green status light was blinking on my X, and as I picked it up I said, "please be shipping email." Nope - was a missed call. I let out a sigh and put the phone down, and not a second later the status light starts blinking again. Email this time, "Verizon Wireless Shipment Notification," with a tracking#. Actually got 2 emails (one for each line) as I ordered one for the wife as well. However, I don't see any indication if it's 1 or 2 day, and of course I don't suspect a driver origin scan today (or should I?) so it's not yet in their system to verify.

I guess they must have heard me in Jersey. :rock:

Now... about that shrubbery...

I finally got the "Your Order Has Shipped" email, and the store will get it Tuesday. I expect to be there in the late afternoon to get it. Only a couple of days to wait!!!!

i doubt you can change it to overnight, Verizon has been really random on who gets overnight and who gets 2day. i would be happy you got the 32gb alot of people are getting theirs delayed due to low stock

Bank account (Wells Fargo) deducted Saturday evening the 7th.

Verizon order update changed to "+" around that same time.

Received Shipping update email including tracking number today (the 8th) around 130pm.

Fed ex tracking page states "standard overnight" and estimates delivery on tuesday the 10th by 430pm.

Phone is in memphis.

shipping to So Cal.

32gb blue.

The web chat couldn't do anything about the shipping. I called and he said being it was shipping he couldn't change it. Kinda stinks but ill have to wait that extra day I guess

All this week they told me it was in the system as standard overnight. Now Fedex says 2-day, and of course there is no force on g-ds green earth that can change that now. I don't even think VZ can get that changed after things get started going.

Well, they met their ship by date in my confirmation so as I said to others, I can't be too upset, but I am less than pleased.

I know I'm getting it before others reading this but less than happy considering when I ordered.

Count me as one of those less than thrilled that store walk-ins may have theirs before me. - Yes, I know I get 32gb and unlimited data while they won't.
