How many have you converted to Droid?

I have convinced 9 people to switch to the Droid.

5 converted from dumb phones
3 converted from Blackberries
1 converted from iPhone

By the way, not one of them that has already received their phone regrets the decision. They all LOVE the Droid!

VZW + Moto should be paying me. Unfortunately, they where either already on VZW, or they bought them (on the cheap) via the net (Newegg and Amazon), so I didn't get in on the $25 referral fee...

Anyways, 3 converts. 1 of them just got his today, he's totally amazed. I told him, Stock is only the beginning. haha. I doubt he'll root though.

I would say I'm my first, the VZW guy actually took me from the Omnia to the Eris. He told me the only difference was the keyboard. Of course I read the forums here and decided to take it back and well we all know how I feel now. I have shown it to everyone I work with I must say how much the iPhone users look upon this device with such longing, such envy. That was stock/ now that I'm rooted they can't contain themselves over thwe live wallpapers alone.

I've converted no one, but my husband converted 4 people from feature phones and has made the iPhone users in the office jealous. They love the app store, but the jealousy comes from service-envy.

and now im happy. plus the nav on googlemaps is sweet. especially for me since i dont own a GPS

my mom from the lg vx8900?"voyager" to the droid eris but i see her hating the phone already and wanting the motorola droid like me lol she misses the physical keyboard is there a way to exchange if in a certain period of time?

my ex-girlfriend who was a iphone user, but now is switching to verizon and motorola droid due to coolness and cheaper bills

and my current girlfriend wants to save up a whole paycheck so she can get the motorola droid and then give it to me to root it lol god i love her

If it is within 30 days, she can take it back. She might want to go to the Devour. If she goes from the Voyager to the Droid, she'll kick you in the junk for having to use the Droid's keyboard. It is just that much better on the 9800. Do yourself a favor, get a cup or get her a Devour.

The Droid blows them away and because I cannot stop tweaking things for the life of me, I love the phone.

I work for verizon I am the tech specialst at my store and senior sales rep and all we have really been selling lately is the droid, and the eris has been a close second. We have gotten tons of people into droids.

Two of my friends, but they have the Eris because they don't like the way the Droid looks. Eh, I wouldn't base my decision on aesthetic appeal and either way, I think the Droid is the sexiest-looking electronic I own!

When my dad's NE2 comes up in September, I'll be trying to convince him to get a Droid. Of course, he might hate using the touchscreen, but he can probably adjust for Skype calling that we're getting soon!
