If you Google Ontario CA and select the MapQuest return, it goes to Ontario, California, a suburb of East LA

In the same boat as the Memphis people. Expecting the phone tomorrow by 3:00pm.

Ditto but my shipment info sent at 5:31 AM. Here's my guess - these phones are/were being loaded onto a FedEx cargo airliner (or two or three) and the next time we see a tracking update will be when they get scanned at their destination airport, which should be servicing the delivery hub that will bring it to your door. You'll see it leave the airport and arrive at that hub, then eventually be 'out for delivery'. Hopefully on time tomorrow morning. I have seen some FedEx packages 'on truck for delivery' as late as 11:30 AM, even though they start delivering at 8:00.

As someone posted earlier, FedEx can move packages pretty fast. So it may not show up at the next checkpoint until the wee hours of Tuesday morning, yet still end up on a delivery truck later in the morning to bring our bundles of joy by 3PM.

I think you may be able to keep it for now. I think they send you a replacement with a return label that you return your current phone in but you use your current phone until it arrives. - bad sentence structure.

If they are shipping phones out of Ontario then why the hell is my phone shipping out of West Chester, PA???? especially since I'm in ONTARIO??

The tracking info hasn't been updated since Friday and I'm suppose to get the phone tomorrow guess something will happen tonight.

I'm in Phoenix (that's Arizona not Phoenix, Michigan) and mine is coming from West Chester, PA also.

It doesn't matter where it's coming from unless it's sent Fedex ground, which it's not. It should still be there next day or 2nd day, whichever it was sent. Mine was 2nd day.

I've been reading this thread since the beginning and I guess I'll be here till the bitter end. Preordered a blue 32GB on 6/12. VZW debited my acct 7/5, pkg was picked up in PA on 7/9 and it's now in . . . Newark! And I live west -- way west -- on the CA coast.

I'm sure there's a reason it went to Newark instead of another hub but after all the delays it's more than a bit maddening to finally see my phone show up on FedEx only to head east. sigh.

Arg. My SGSIII has been sitting in the FedEx facility in my town since 9:30 a.m. I called and asked what was up w/that, because upon tracking, it simply said it arrived but is not due for delivery yet.

Anyways, he kindly explained that it's on a crate of stuff not due to be unpacked yet. I asked him if I could save them a trip and just go pick it up tomorrow, but he said Verizon always insists that they attempt delivery at least once before allowing a pickup, and just to leave a signed note on my door.

Oh well, it was worth a try!

I received the Droid Incredible (original) on launch day (April 29, 2010) so I've had it two years, two months and a couple of days. Booyaa! Over 2 years! Haha, it is awesome that you last less than a year on phones. Honestly, I haven't had a need to really upgrade as I haven't missed out on much.

My SG3 did arrive at my house yesterday but had a sudden death in the family and had to fly out of state. Do I really want the phone? Sure, but my trusty Incredible (with ICS) is still working perfectly fine.

Regarding the phone, I hope to return before I miss delivery for the 3rd time on Wednesday. I am kind of annoyed that there isn't an option to hold, even under the circumstances.. Anyway, it is just a phone! 4g and a nice big 720p are what I'm looking forward to most!

anyway, I apologize if my grammar is pretty bad as I'm exhausted. Gonna to try to sleeP!

Yay, my (Verizon) Galaxy S3 16gb Blue has "departed fedex location" from Memphis TN just now and is on the move! I guess it really will come today as scheduled.

I got my Droid Incredible (original) on launch day as well, . Honestly, if not for the unlimited data going away for grandfathering and figuring I would want a new phone in another year, I wouldn't have necessarily grabbed the Galaxy S3 right now. The original Droid Incredible frankly took care of my needs mostly fine to this day. Not that I don't want the features this thing offers, but it was still working well for me.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.... my condolences. Have a smooth trip.

I'm in the same position as you, my phone was at the destination sort facility since 5:30 this morning but it won't be delivered until tomorrow. I've seen other shipping companies ship it out early but I doubt fedex will do it I wish I got upgraded to overnight shipping.

EDIT: @7:30 now it's at local FedEx Facility, I can hope it comes a day early..... please?

EDIT: @7:39 on vehicle for delivery! Christmas has come early! well actually my birthday. Can't wait to get it after work.
