Rezound not charging on wall charger AT ALL!

The last couple nights have noticed that my wall charger is not actually charging my Rezound while plugged in. The other night I woke in the middle of the night to check for school closures because of weather and noticed, even after my phone was "charging" for 4 or 5 hours it was only charged to 50% so I just left it and it was FINALLY charged when I woke up a few hours later. Last night i did some reading on my nook app with my phone plugged into the charger until about 1 am I closed my nook app and set the phone down- which went into standby mode and stayed on the charger ALL NIGHT long. When I woke up at 630 and checked my email and such the phone DIED... even still plugged in! It kept it alive all night long but never actually charged it. So I put it in airplane mode thinking if I turned off the brain or something but so my alarm would still go off, it might get some juice. I went back to bed and slept a couple hours and it was STILL dead.... it had gotten like 8% juice from charging for 2 hours!
Now I have it plugged into my laptop with the usb and it is charging just fine and actually getting battery life back.
When I bought the rezound I was told my DroidX charger would work... which it did for the first couple night and the usb from my Droid X is what is charging it right now. It is the same plug- just put it in upside down. Any ideas what is going on??? I also got the mobile battery charger for when I am not in the car or at home in case I need juice but I have not needed to use it yet.

What could be the issue and does anyone have any suggestions? If I can't charge my phone on my nightstand- it would be a huge inconvenience. With my job I need access to my phone if I get a call in the morning.... HMMMMM

Sounds like your outlet if it charges elsewhere. I use my Droid x and enV touch chargers oh and my blue ant blue tooth charger, all of them work just fine.

It is not the outlet- I know it's not because there are other things that get plugged into it often. I honestly think it was the charger.... I used the actual charger that came with the phone today, since I had forgotten about it, and it charged just fine. So I guess that charger doesn't work for this phone.... at least not well.
I will charge the phone on the same outlet with the htc charger tonight and see how it works.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I was curious to know if the OP ever determined the problem?

My USB AC charger seems to have stopped working as well. I've been using it successfully since I bought the phone 2 months ago but the past two nights the phone does not charge while plugged in despite the battery icon showing it is charging.

If I plug the phone into my computer, it charges fine, albeit much slower than via AC. What do I need to do to get the phone to charge on AC power again??

My rezound wouldn't charge either. Turns out the charging port went bad. I purchased my phone from Best Buy and I got their smartphone insurance. They did a rapid replacement and I receive a refurbished phone that looks new in 2 days. The sales staff at BB told me they had a couple other Rezounds with the same issue.

You might take it to Verizon and have them check your battery. Sometimes when they wink out they show they are charging when in fact they won't accept a charge.

Yeah mine has the same issue. OEM ac charger works fine, any other USB b cord or ac cord with plug that seems to fit rezound makes the orange charging light come on but doesn't actually charge. Basically the charge port on the phone wiggles and so is finicky about what fits. My Verizon branded car charger I bought at phone purchase no longer works either. I read somewhere else that the HTC flyer OEM chargers fit snugly on the rezound if for some reason u need extras. I would appreciate any suggestions on a car charger.
