Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I know human children who bite more often than that as well. :)

As much as my furry kids can be a pain, I wouldn't give $5 for another one like them, but wouldn't take $1 million for any of them. We had a foster dog a few years ago that was mean as a snake, but we adored her. She was a mostly blind pekingnese and she had to have drops in her eyes 3 times a day. When she sensed your hand coming toward her, she would bite the hell out of you with her tiny little mouth...it was like a snake bite. She got adopted by an older lady who didn't mind the biting in the least, and we still miss her...fangs and all. :D

lol that's hilarious.

I think our lhasa really might have some mental problems. She has attacked 80 pound dogs, going to their throats. I'm amazed we haven't gotten sued, but she hasn't drawn blood from them so that's probably why.

But she gets very vicious at times, and our shih-tzu will sometimes sleep in a different room the whole night if the lhasa has been especially moody that evening.

But most of the time she's as gentle as a *****cat. It's strange.

Edit:
ha ha, my word got asterisked.

Whaa?

Our lhasa apso bites my wife that many times in a month, just brushing her or bathing her, and yes, draws blood as well, but she takes it in stride. Can't help it if our children have fangs. :p

I've never owned a dog that bites. Won't tolerate it. He actually hasn't bitten in about a year, so we're making progress with him. The westie will give you a little mouth check, but never bite. She did it the other night and we died laughing at her. I was messing with her tail while she was sitting by me on the couch and she all of a sudden turned and put her canine teeth right my hand but then paused and slowly backed her mouth away.

The yorkie is mainly just an annoyance at times. I love animals, but I would have never chosen a Yorkie and truth be told, my wife wouldn't have either. Her dad got it for her when she was a senior in high school. She would have just as soon left the dog with her parents, but after college they made her take it with her, lol. Our westie lives inside sometimes and outside other times and makes it fine. Our lab is 100% outside dog. It just makes it almost impossible to make spontaneous trips because we have to worry about what we're going to do with the dog.

I have been trying to get this done...but we are stuck on some of the channels we watch everyday...like HGTV, A&E, Discovery and SciFi...all of which I cannot find a reliable source for online....everything else is good to go internet only, no cable...except those, so we have not made the switch completely yet

Live streaming is possible. It can take some searching. I used to stream live directv from someone in Florida about 3 or 4 years ago. For me I just search for the shows or channel I want to watch on Google and type in streaming(i.e. MasterChef Australia streaming).

So, I just applied for a few positions at Verizon Wireless.. gotta do something with all this phone knowledge, I suppose. XD
Just a quick update on this - Verizon emailed me this morning to set up a phone interview :) Very exciting, I really wasn't expecting to hear back from them!
Very exciting :D Is there a way to submit requests for AOKP? I'd love to see the modifications that other ROMs have been able to include as a part of AOKP - for example, several have been able to incorporate the Beats audio sound system.
Perhaps, but my cat is 15 and is the same way. Having pets is like having a toddler for 15 years.
Sigh, ain't that the truth. Woke up this morning and went into the living room where I'd been working on a categorization project with my Magic the Gathering cards, only to find my alphabetized piles all knocked over, and my cat nearby looking as innocent as a baby.

You ever had one of those good day/bad day things going on?

Just flashed the JB bootloader and TWRP no problems, made my first TWRP backup, gonna dirty flash Jellly Belly 2.6. Anxiously awaiting JB 3.0 full AOSP. Good Day.

Our mere 2-year old heat pump has a leak in the evaporator. Parts are covered under warranty... shipping, labor (and lots of it) and coolant are not. BAD DAY.

Good day for the phone, bad day for the bank account. And all this on top of a pretty packed good/bad schedule today!

I'm not sure what mood I'm supposed to be in!

Unexpected costly home repairs always put me in a sour mood. That actually caused me to finally root my OG Droid back in the day. My well pump died, called the company, $1,200 on the spot to replace it. 4 weeks later to the day (on my birthday no less) the pressure tank went, $800 on the spot for replacement. I was fuming and figured, well, this $600 dollar phone is going to show me what I paid for, as it seems more stable than my far less technological crap that was dying. So root it I did.:D

Good morning everyone!

Lady picked up a MK6 VW Golf last night - what a nice car to drive. It is weird sitting in the passenger seat of a VW and not having to avoid potholes and speed bumps, but I'm just used to that by now.

Good choice! :D

Congratulations! Good luck!

Toy breeds are notorious biters. I've always been more of a big dog fan...not sure how I ended up with pugs. Maybe because they have big dog personalities in a convenient travel size. :D

Same here. I had nothing but German Shepherds growing up, and my wife was a cat person. We compromised and got the lhasa (they are the most adorable puppies in the world). I can't hate any breed of dog, but I really wanted a Shepherd. We walked into a pet shop one day to get some food for the dog and my wife picked up a shih-tzu and wouldn't let it go. So that was that.

BTW, I hate pet shops selling puppies, but she honestly wouldn't let her go!

Great excuse to root, Pup! :)

Anybody into lucid dreaming? I think I said something about it, but not sure if it was here or somewhere else.

Finally had another one last night after like 2 months of nothing.

Very cool. It felt like it lasted for a literal hour.

Not a fan at all. I have them where I'm conscious and fully aware, but I cannot move or talk, and I need to wake up. Closest I can imagine being in a coma. I may have a month or two where it will happen 2-3 times a night and I may go years between episodes.

Yikes! That would be pretty scary. I had this one where I would talk to different people, and some of them were pretty much cardboard cutouts of people I know. Mindless, couldn't converse. But others, I would ask them questions and they would give me well thought out answers and stuff. Very strange.

That IS pretty darn cute. However, being admittedly biased, I think these are the cutest ever.

I have done it on occasion (not for a few years), though I am not a fan. Of course, I'm usually dreaming that there are snakes or spiders in my bed, or that I have swallowed something crazy like a fish hook. Why can't I, for once, dream that I'm watching Channing Tatum film the dance scenes for Magic Mike???
