Hey guys, been a lurker ever since the Gnex release fiasco and I just ran into a little info you might be interested in. So here's the story, yesterday I preordered 3 N7's through the play store, one for me, my sister, and my brother for his birthday. Well it turns out that his gf already bought him a Galaxy tab 10.1, so now I really don't need 3 N7's. I called the playstore number this morning that they said to cancel the one tablet i needed to cancel all three and then re-preorder two of them. I figured ok, whatever that works. Then about a half hour ago when i was about to preorder another two I got this email.

Hi,

At this point it is no longer possible to cancel this preorder. Preorder
shipment processing on your order has begun, which means that our shipping
provider is moving forward with delivery preparation.

As an alternative, I'll request that our shipping provider stop shipment
on your order. Though we can't guarantee that our shipping provider will
be able to stop shipment, we'll do our best to submit your request as
quickly as possible.

If our shipping provider successfully intercepts your package, we'll
process a cancellation of your preorder. You will receive a cancellation
confirmation if we're able to successfully cancel your order.

If we're unable to cancel your order, you will receive a shipping
confirmation with a tracking number.

So I guess they're shipping out like SUPER soon guys! Now I gotta figure out what I'm gonna do with an extra tablet lol hopefully they'll let me return it without charging a restocking fee.

Ok, weird thing just happened. The Nexus Case on my play store order history has changed from 6/27 order date to 7/13 order date and shows up on my bank's transaction page as going through tonight at 8:30pm..... However, the Nexus 7 that I ordered a few moments after the I/O presentation (1:51pm eastern) is still sitting there "completed" on 6/27? This might mean I'll get the case but not the nexus yet? LOL

well if it starts shipping tomorrow, some of you will get it monday, i know because whenever i'd buy something from newegg.com (usually friday, which is payday for me) i usually pick UPS 2 day shipping, it gets shipped out that day and is traveling all through the weekend and gets to me on monday morning. sometimes tuesday if something goes wrong.

do what i do when im waiting for a new toy.... WATCH UNBOXING VIDEOS!!! =D

So relax everyone, its coming, and probably sooner than you might thing All i ask, is for it be on my door step either monday or tuesday so i can play with it all day

How did you ordered the case? In the play store it says the case will be available soon but it didn't let me actually order it.

From what I've read, it must've been available for a brief period at some point and some people were able to nab it (unfortunately, I was not one of those people)

A coworker of mine was going to get a tablet and I swayed her to order one of these, for the price it really is unbeatable.

I cannot wait to get mine, and I am in the process of trying to convince my wife to sell her Nook Color and to get one of these.

What?!?! Sorry, but I cry BS here. Them and B&H are known as the two most honest camera dealers around. They are HUGELY respected in the camera community. I have bought many things off of them and have never had a single problem like you describe! I think you are reporting rumors you have heard about another camera shop. Ask anyone in the camera community and they will have good things to say about Adorama.

going OT, but I have to back this up - I'm a 'tog myself, and Adorama have had a solid reputation for good service for years - especially film and darkroom gear.

I'm with you. Ordered the 28th around 5am. No sign of anything on my bank's transaction history.

Now I'm just hoping it's here Monday! Seems like the past few days I've gone to sleep assured that the next day would bring me a shipping email, and so far I've been let down every day...
