I want to install a Screen Capture App but it said I have to root my phone first. Can somebody tell me how to root Samsung Galaxy W? I really don't understand how to~ help please thanksss!!! ><

Hi Ruth...

First....

can I tell you you do not need an App to do screen capture on your phone!!!

Here is how to do it.. .

When you are in the screen you want to capture....

just press "Home" and "Power" keys together....and release both!!

Power just on/off quickly....

it will show message like below....

[If task manager pop-up happens before you get a chance to press power....just dismiss this with back button (right soft key)....then... press power and release immediately]

You will find the screen capture pic in Gallery under ScreenCapture !!!

Or....if you want to.....

in any file manager.....

like default "MyFiles"...

sdcard/ScreenCapture....

If you are still on stock recovery, no problemo amigo!!

Use the root via recovery method, No. 1 on the list....

This works best for most Wonders.....

using the default Stock Recovery

As there are no official ics releases, you would need to root as is with gingerbread, then follow instructions on flashing custom roms, and flash an ics ROM!
