***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

Come on everyone. It's a phone. An exciting, game changing one to be sure. But let's keep some perspective.

IT'S NOT GAMECHANGING!!! everybody stop saying that!!! it's just a nice smartphone!! it does NOTHING that a previously released phone hasn't done.

So maybe you guys that just created accounts to troll the few people who have gone out of their way to help us should just go back to lurking.
As for the EVO, it looks like a great phone (minus the regular lcd screen). However, where I live Sprint only works along main interstates and most cities only have good coverage (no 3g), whereas verizon has 3g almost everywhere. So I would much rather have the incredible. Do I was it had a front facing camera, 2nd noise cancellation mic, and a little bigger screen, of course I do. But I'd rather have the big V.

That's exactly it. VZW has always been a, "well, let's do this and well... that won't work *stalls for a month* ok, let's try again!" Motto. They are in a sense like Valve whereas Valve will release a videogame only when they've worked hard enough on it for it to be the best it can.

I realize VZW sometimes misses their opportunity and ends up coming in last when it comes to phone specs at the time, but it's because they sometimes want the phone to be solid... and make money.

Regardless, I'm hoping tomorrow is the day.

Like Blizzard with Starcraft 2. Only took 13 years.

LOL oh how the mood has changed. Everyone is upset and accusing each other of this and that. Comical imo. Just know that the phone WILL come to verizon...whether it be now or later.

The contents of that covered window have not yet been unveiled...let's wait it out before jumping to conclusions. Also does HTC have a conference coming up later today?

HTC isn't going to announce the Incredible now that Sprint has announced the EVO and HTC is posting it all over the place. Best we can hope for is a CTIA day 2 release or something else......maybe this weekend.

Oh well. Not sure why I expected anything less from Verizon. They have never been very good at this kind of thing so why would they change now?

Yep. They just went from second best Android available or up and coming to 4th in a matter of a few hours. Lucky for them none of the competitors devices are available right now.
