That's exactly it. VZW has always been a, "well, let's do this and well... that won't work *stalls for a month* ok, let's try again!" Motto. They are in a sense like Valve whereas Valve will release a videogame only when they've worked hard enough on it for it to be the best it can.

I realize VZW sometimes misses their opportunity and ends up coming in last when it comes to phone specs at the time, but it's because they sometimes want the phone to be solid... and make money.

Regardless, I'm hoping tomorrow is the day.

I sure hope that is their plan at this point, since they certainly didn't do that with the original BlackBerry Storm.

Hate to say it but Newsradio (despite being a jaggoff) said there was no incredible. I hate being tricked! Feeling like The Incredible is a huge fraud!

Honestly, if you look at how they're releasing recent phones, have you seen any with problems? Have any been as bad as the Storm since then? The Storm was supposed to be a huge flagship phone, but Blackberry made a terrible device and their software updates were never up to VZW's standards so it was barely ever updated. I know this phone will be as good, if not better, than any other phone we've seen released. Basically, I'm expecting this phone to come out perfect when it's out. The only problem is that VZW takes their time when it comes to testing/deciding when to market it/releasing it. I'm glad they take their time in that first aspect, but they need to realize consumers don't want to wait for an amazing phone to come out in ten months when they can easily jump ship to a different device on any other network that really tops what VZW offers.

Don't get me wrong, the Droid = great phone, the Eris is also damn good. iPhone is obviously a great phone in it's own aspects and is a big enough player to easily take folks away from VZW's great network.

They need a phone that they can say, "Hey, look at this phone. Completely thrashes the <insert phone here>. Just come on over and have a great life here."

Ok here is my take on today and the incredible. Is there anything confirming that the EVo was the embargoed device if you look HERE there still is no EVO or INCREDIBLE listed. If you let sprint unveil there EVO then the next day HTC wins the Award with the Incredible. They let Sprint have their party and Verizon have theirs. The Fact that Nothing there says anything about the incredible pushes me to believe this more than any other theory out there.

And, we need to start looking for other code names other than Incredible. I think that if they aren't gonna go with Supersonic, there's an even lower chance that Incredible is final.


Remember the protypes shown of the EVO had supersonic written on them, so that's obviously not proof enough.

Atleast when we find out what's inside the OTHER HTC hidden box...

if it's not the incredible... then i'd say we have been mislead, and that the people who have mislead us were mislead, and they are not to be crucified.

100% AGREE --- if someone had NEAR even CLOSE to as good a coverage I would have been gone along time ago with their crappiest customer service in the business or the fact that their billing is a joke and nothing but problems with phone and their TV service.. verizon is a joke but their stupid coverage network just is the best so they hide behind this!!! we've always had the CRAPPIEST phones and paid top dollar!!!!!
