Ordered on 27/6 and had pheck all beyond the original order confirmation email.. Had no response to two emails I have sent them. Very poor communications imo

I'm in the UK too and I have received no email, nothing charged to my credit card and no change in Google Wallet. Seriously unimpressed that people who ordered way late than me have received shipping info

This is crap! I ordered 6/27 at 1:27 PM. My card has not been charged and no emails from Google. How is it people can get it from Gamestop but Google can not get it to people that have preordered from them directly?

I'd guess it's 'just' them thinking they've got us suckers so need to focus on getting units to as many other people as possible via retail outlets. Understandable on a marketing level but terrible customer service imo

Hi all. Just registered and making my first post. I wish it was under better circumstances.

I'm just here to say that I preordered my device while the Glass-wearing skydivers were still on stage, midday on the 27th, and I haven't gotten charged yet, and there is no movement with my order on Wallet. Really disappointed that people who ordered in July have tracking numbers already, and others actually picked them up at GameStop and other places, and I'm sitting here wondering if maybe something is wrong with my order. More likely, I've just been screwed a little.

Nope - nothing.

My GW account has being showing as 'order completed' since early last week, but I paid with a debit card, so perhaps that is why. I dont have online banking so cant check if I've been charged or not ... but as complete, I guess I have.


I'm wondering what constitutes a 'preorder'? I only ordered on 8 July, so does that qualify for the 'all preorders being shipped in next 3 days' promise? Does that even apply to the UK?

Still lots of q's unanswered. I'm not throwing my toys out of the pram though. I'm happy to sit tight and hope it comes sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Ordered on June 27th. No emails, no cc charge. Just ordered 1 N7, no accessories.
I'm about 2 exits away from google HQ. lol.
I think a googler should just hand deliver it to me at this point and give me a massage as a bonus.

Of course for all I know its already shipped. Wouldn't be the first time I received a ups delivery while the delivery status is still "pending". Not really concern. Eventually, one will be in my hands. Be it next tues, wed or end of the month.

I wonder if some people have issues because of the credit card charge isn't going through. We assume its google but maybe its the credit card.

Just got my Nexus 7 this morning from Ebuyer looking good so far Once you get it out of the horrendous tight packing Thought i was going to have to cut the box off it.

Never had a good play with it as its on charge But one annoying thing is when you start it up you dont get your normal Apps desktop you get the Google market Looks like they want you to start buying apps straight away.

So its in your face as soon as you boot up. You have to tap another button on the bottom bar to get to the normal desktop.

You have to do this Every time you wake it from sleep Really Annoying.

Have not come across any setting so far to stop it doing this.

I hate to bring bad news but as long as I can remember UPS distribution centers aren't open on the weekends. Unless something has changed I would expect Tuesday or Wednesday.

I saw a tip yesterday. Just longpress on it and drag it to the trash, or off the screen, to remove it just like you would any other app.

Google says 2-day shipping, so we obviously won't get it today, but it'll be moving today. Friday & Saturday, skip Sunday, then Monday. Besides, some people are reporting their estimated delivery times are Monday

Yup, this is the first thing I did when I booted mine. That thing was annoying to no end to look at. I think I might even bother to disable it in apps settings too just for giggles.

Glad I decided not to wait for my Play shipment. I still see zero sign of anything anywhere.

Well I just got off the phone to Google and the adviser said that UK pre-orders will start shipping out between Monday and Wednesday of next week. Nexus Google+
