Rezounds successor?

In my opinion there is not one at this time. I don't see the HTC One line as a replacement for the rezound only as competition for the razr/nexus and some cheaper "price point" phones. Maybe in the summer if the quad core with a decent replaceable battery comes out. Problem is that bigger screens can have battery impacts and bigger cores may not have useful day to day value except for gaming, although they can make core use more efficient.

HTC seems to be more interested in having a huge competitor line rather than one killer phone.

Funny, the rezound is a killer phone but only the owners are aware of it.

I predict a Rezound successor in late October early November 2012. The specs may/should include:
Quad processor
802.11ac wireless
64 GB internal storage
2 GB ROM
removable battery
4.6" or 4.7" screen
dual radios for both GSM and CDMA
5 megapixel front camera and 12 megapixel rear camera.
Off contract price $799 (without loss of unlimited data, throttled at 4GB), contract price $300 (with loss of unlimited data).

I will still be using my old $50 Rezound :D for at least another year, so it won't really matter... but that is what dreams are for.

:)

I'd actually spend the $800 on this device. More and more, I'm learning that HTC makes nice devices...

Not a big deal for me, but I'm guessing whatever it is will be flat unlike our current Rezound. Seems I read that it turned out to be a big mistake (HTC felt) to produce our big fat back phone when everyone wants flat. I have to say I don't think I've dropped my Rezound as much as my previous flat phone. Skinny is in though.

I know I know... you guys wanted to talk about hardware,.. sorry to be the geek :p

With the weird HTC/VZW relationship I will be surprised to see a 'flag-ship' HTC phone on VZW any time soon... I mean I hope there will be but don't think it is very likely. We will see I suppose

That recent article about the HTC phone with the 1080p screen looks mighty promising :)
