[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

Well folks, once again my GPS is acting up.

I decided to test the Nav Lady on the way home from the store. GPS won't lock again... it won't even turn on from the Power Control Widget!

Too many weird things happening. Time for a a nice, clean flash when 3.7 drops tonight.

Are you "stock" on everything or are there tweaks or mods you have added? If so, what?

Just a suggestion Chief fwiw. Try XenonHD ROM. I don't know your allegiance to any one ROM or if you have the time to tinker, but it is worthy.

I am dirty flashed to 3.6, with Power Menu mod and Willjay's Battery %/softkeys mod. That's it. Stinking thing worked before... I'll see if a reboot helps.

I am a semi-crackflasher, JBDan, and right now pretty allegiant* to Jelly Belly simply because I know it WORKS and I need a phone. I tried another JB ROM and it tore my phone up. If and when AOKP releases a stable JB ROM replete with the customization options they're famous for, I'll be on it in no time flat.

*-Is that a word? Well, it is now :p

Just for everyone's info, Lightflow was updated today, saying it fixed JB issues. However I am still getting talk back in browsers and facebook app (and who knows where else I haven't tried yet) when I enable it. Not sure if it is a Lightflow or a ROM issue. Can anyone see if they have the same issue on 3.6?

I'm having issues with the new LightFlow 3.0.4 also. Notifications not being cleared correctly and sound and light notifications not being properly executed. Sometimes the notifications works sometimes they don't. I'm still on JB 3.5 for now.

ran into my first issue on clean install of 3.5

toggled wifi a few minutes ago and after a few seconds it pulled up the boot animation, never went to the google screen

if i left the wifi toggled when it came back on, it would do the exact same thing

as soon as i untoggled wifi it was fine

i had been using wifi with no issues before that

rebooted to recovery, fixed permissions and now wifi toggles fine :dontknow:

Perfect, glad you got it working!!

From some of the responses on the Rootz thread, it seems that some of the apps are not mixing well with the permissions that we are and have been giving the apps in previous builds/ROMS/stock, etc. It seems that the couple of things to check when having issues, is to Reboot to Recovery, Fix Permissions and/or reboot to recovery, Wipe Dalvik Cache then Fix Permissions again....

I'm seeing a lot of people using LightFLow with no issues on 3.6. They mention starting from scratch with the LF app. Make sure you're not restoring a LF backup with the LF app. Some even mention having to wipe data and set everything up again with the LF app. idk if this will fix your issue, but you might want to try it

Well wiping app data didn't work. I will do a clean flash to 3.7 (assuming its clean) and make sure I don't restore LF to see if that helps.

I stayed on the same version of JB, 3.5, but uninstalled LightFlow completely and re-installed it from the Play Store (didn't wipe app data). At that point I had to re-create all of my notification settings; so far so good, but I've only done a couple real world tests with the settings. Hopefully through out the day I'll see if the settings stick or see if I have any other problems.

3.7 up and running with Dirty Flash. Deep Sleep, Nav, bluetooth, sound all functioning great.
Installing Mods now....

Edit: Inverted and 1% battery working perfect.
I am not seeing any issues right now, but will give it a little bit of time to settle.

Edit #2: GPS Lock - Less than 10 sec. this is a little bit longer than it normally takes for me, but I am inside of a concrete building....

Bleeding Edge!!!

Also, since the changelog is not up yet, or officially posted at Rootz - At this point I might go back and run a Clean install, not a dirty flash...simply because the GAPPS did change.....but I seem to be doing okay so far on a Dirty, just noticed that a couple of apps had changed, so I had to trash a couple of app icons like Calendar and Talk....
