[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

No linaro....is this good or bad? Excuse my noobness. I have yet yo flash JB. I've been running AOKP M6 and have been suspect on the idea of flashing a shaky from with a lot of reported issues( not directing it at this from)
The past builds of jelly belly have included by default the stock Google CWL (compiled with linaro) kernel. WHat does this mean? I'm not sure exactly :p other than it being compiled with a toolchain that optimizes software. The stock Google kernel in my experience has actually been even more smooth to me than the linaro compiled stock kernel. I use franco's JB kernels though so I haven't thoroughly tested the differences between the stock vs stock cwl (compiled with linaro).

Jb is very stable imo. For me to have flashed 4 different JB roms and flash 10+ versions of those roms and to only have had very minor issues is good stuff.

Whatever you do, before you take the plunge, research all you can on it so you understand what you're doing and make a backup of your /sdcard to your PC.

Didn't mean to answer for ryan just giving my input :)

UUGGHH... I was getting ready to flash 3.7 and use 7-14 GAPPS.. how long do u think until the 7-18 releases? Today? B-)
Don't do that...you need 7/18 gapps with 3.7

It'll be official tonight sometime. Or you can beg and plead with fellow countryman and AF user "ryanmatchett" for his "secret early release links" :p

In the OP is a **early release link ;)

Wow thanks for that then....b/c I definitely was about to do that! I'll check out the errly release link and see what's in there. If not than I don't mind coming back in a few. I need to juice my NEx up anyways. My batty died during my initial root process some months ago...not fun. Talk about shitting bricks! I thought I bricked my new phone lol.

3.7 and Gapps 7-18 are in my dropbox folder, MD5s check out... and I will publish the link to it as soon as it officially drops. I would hate for there to be a last minute change and I'm linking to an old test ROM

If someone else wants to go ahead and link to it, cool.

I can't flash it right now anyway: not enough battery left today! Looks like another early morning tomorrow! :)

Downloaded 3.7 and 7/18 GApps on my phone at work, md5 checked out. Moved them from sdcard/Downloads to sdcard when I got home, checked md5's one more time (because I'm OCD) and they didn't match. Checked the file size and it was 0 kB. Somehow the file got messed up moving from folder to folder in Root Explorer. Re-downloading now, and thank goodness for md5's!
