Help samsung moment driver

when i connected the phone to a computer running windows7, it immediately recoginzed the android device and showed sdcard option in the notification area of the phone. however, when i connected to a laptop running winxp, there is no notification to access the sdcard. where do i find the driver for winxp? thx

i have win 7 pro. the phone does not get recognized at all, even though i updated it about a month ago. I have had to reinstall driver a couple of times before as well... am i doing something wrong? or is it win 7? or the driver file? please help!

Same issue on Windows XP machine...

With phone plugged into computer via USB, I powered the phone down and restarted and all worked great.

ok for anyone having problems heres what to do uninstall all drivers from your computer then power cycle your phoneonce your phone is back up connect it to your computer THEN turn on your computer.it should find and install all drivers that you need.

I installed the phone drivers, downloaded the easytether app to my phone as well as to my computer. Everything said it was installed successfully but when I right clock on the tether icon it says "no devices to connect". Any ideas?

I'm having trouble with the drivers, just like many others. Now, when trying to uninstall so I can reinstall, I get: Unknown install error. Contact to distributors. Then when I click OK, I get: Fatal error during install.
Any ideas how I should proceed? Thanks.

The zip file link that was posted by LincKraker #5 (permalink) worked great. I had my Samsung Moment powered up and USB connected to laptop. These steps worked great. Click on the link provided by LincKraker, Choose Save and save the zip file to a location on your system (I always use a folder I created in My Documents called "Internet Downloads" and I put in a folder titled "Samsung Moment") you can either select Open or (Save the zip file inside the Samsung Moment folder and navigate to it) select Extract and put the location to save these extracted files into the same "Samsung Moment" folder. After these files have been extracted, locate the Setup.exe file and double click it. You will almost immediately see your system being linked up to your Samsung Moment phone and in about 1 minute the driver will then show up on your USB connection is ready to Go.
