Flashing Boost to a Verizon phone

A Verizon phone can be used on Boost. You'll have to use one of the usual suspects of donors. Once you get the donor up and working you'll have to pull the prl off the phone and the details about profile 0 and 1.

Once you get all that off the phone manually program all that into the lg and upload the prl file to it too. Make sure the phone is allowed to roam. Most Verizon phones only have one profile. If needed create a second profile if there isn't one or if there is one make sure to activate it. The mdn/msid combo needs to be put in manually too.

LG phones are notoriously hard to work with. You'll probably get 1xRTT speeds without much trouble... getting it on 3G would be the trick you're after. Some have reported that using LGNPST to do all the programming will take care of things but I haven't done it first hand. I just stay away from LG phones.

Good luck.

Root is a breeze. There's an all-in-one winderz batch file, which exploits perms on /data/gpscfg/gps_env.conf.

Here's the meat of it:

Code:
adb shell "rm /data/gpscfg/gps_env.conf 2>/dev/null"
adb shell "ln -s /data /data/gpscfg/gps_env.conf"
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb shell "echo 'ro.kernel.qemu=1' > /data/local.prop"
adb reboot

Also has a CWMT (touch) recovery with working adb.

Best root experience EVAR!!! :thumb:
