The following is not mine:

"This was built from AOKP source using CyanogenMod device folder and Team ACS vendor folder slightly modified to fit my needs...so BIG thanks to them. I made this to satisfy the need for AOKP until the team officially supports Sprint version (toroplus)."

Here is their website:

aokp.co/index.php/news

What works:
Everything as far as I can tell including root

What's broken?

Hmm...not too sure. You tell me.

Directions:
1) Download
2) Make a backup
3) Wipe cache/dalvik - factory reset for those coming from a different ROM
4) Flash
5) Enjoy

Check the XDA thread here.

Is lean the best jb kernel? What is the deal with color tweaks that I read about?

One quickly becomes accustomed to having these color tweaks as you'll soon find out. Trinity kernel has really nice stock color settings, the colors are very rich, deep, and the whites are extremely white. You never realize how yellow the stock whites are until flashing Trinity. As a matter of fact, the colors are so good, that it was keeping me from trying other kernels! Then I found Lean. That runs much better (on my phone) than Trinity and also found color settings I could use that were near identical to Trinity's. So yes, color has become very important to me and many others lol. I'm sure the others (in this subforum) can attest to that.

Colors were the main reason I never tried any kernel other than trinity. Frenchy is there color control built into AOKP or do you need an app like Francos?

No color control (yet). If you want Trinity colors w/ Lean's performance/battery, you'll NEED to purchase Franco's app. I'm telling you, the color settings I have for Lean are IDENTICAL to the colors we've all grown to love using Trinity. I posted a screenie of what kind of battery drain I experience on Lean in Lean's thread.

EDIT: Another nightly build from this Dev was released last night, and I noticed the following was added: color settings, led settings, theme chooser, and data has been added to the toggles. This is damn near complete already!

Okay initial impressions is I like the ROM but it is missing some stuff that made me like AOKP. I miss not having notification bar brightness control and lock screen options like weather and such. I am sure that these things will eventually find there way into the ROM as it gets developed more but right now I feel skank might be the better option, I am going to leave AOKP running though for at least a day or two.
