gingerbread.XXKL3
Phone is locked to Meteor Ireland

I run C.C.b.s.f and it says its ready to root, then when I run root it says completed then when I reboot it comes up unmounting system and data. I have SU on my phone but when I click it comes up no SU binary and SU cannot download

Everything is explained c.c.b.s.f you can run it like the rest of the zip files in recovery mode it will give you additional space so you can root the phone. Language will remain. I can't explain you anything more than the thread read it 5 times if you need I don't need to repeat my self like paparot. And there is no chance to brick your phone nobody has brick the phone with this method.

We need to find your Stock ROM it seems your firmware is full with extra applications no space for rooting.

How can find my stock ROM?
You know that I have Samsung Galaxy young GT-S5360
Model number: GT-S5360
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: S5360XXLA2
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7 dpi@DELL180#1
Build number: GINGERBREAD JPLA1
Also my phone storage is 158MB/190MB and External SD card is 1.30GB/1.85GB. You mean I must delete some apps in order to release internal memory and then root phone? But as I told u I saw “your phone rooted and enjoyed it!” message in recovery mode BUT nothing happened in menu :(

This is your Stock Firmware just in case you need it in the future.

Tommorow I'll be making second root zip file ..it will be only root and nothing else... No busy box, root validator, sq3lite...and so on...smaller size. That stuff can be added after rooting if someone want it.

Hey,

just wanna say thanks, i found this thread. i don't want to rush in performing root/unroot my android device because i fear this might render into inoperable device or shall we say "brick phone" if i'm not mistaken. i want slowly but surely with the help of yours. please guide me by breaking it down into details or step-by-step, knowing its precautions and how to get back to the original/factory settings and what about the warranty? so, below are my phone details:

Model number: GT-S5360
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: S5360DXLE1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7 dpi@DELL130#1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.DXLE1

First thing first.

1. You will never ever brick your phone by rooting your device via Stock Recovery mode.
2. If you are not on any of those Network Providers listed then you can stright use root_v22
3. If you are listed then you can use first thing for pre root the c.c.b.s.f_v6 and then apply the root_v22 or only root_v22b
4. Yes by root you will lost the waranty but with unroot you will return it back whenever you want and the counter for flashing is only counting firmwares not the root zip files (you are undetectable for them)
5. Nothing to fear in this.
6. Never use the application ROM Manager in most case it will brick your phone.
7. Thats all good luck.
