Adjusting Media Volume

I did a search but did not find a specific answer to my question:

Is there an app/widget to toggle the media volume from mute to ON? Or some other shortcut method to adjust the volume and/or mute the media volume without having to first play media?

Another thread said that there was an app for it but it did not state the name and I could not find it on the market. Thanks in advance!

The AudioManager linked to by thetomlin is a good app.
Another, much less high-tech way to deal with what I ASSume you're dealing with is to simply put your finger over the speaker hole (right next to the camera) before you start your media. That will REALLY quiet the phone while you adjust the volume to the correct level.
T'ain't fancy, but it'll get ya there...

You mean you can't just fire up music or slacker or something and then hold the top button on the volume rocker on the side? Where's the problem with this workflow?
