so, now knowing the Evo 4G didnt come out with a release date or a price, it makes sense to get into Android now and that shall be with the Moment.

So, my 1st question in preparation, is it a better idea to play with 1.5 for a few days or whatever to get comfy with the phone and platform or do I just say screw it and root it so I can get SetCPU on

the only reason I think I want to root from the word go is because it will a) teach me all about root REAL quick and b) I'll resolve most battery issues i've ready about much sooner than later.

I guess what I'm asking is.... whats the 1st thing YOU did when YOU got an Android phone?

for me, since i got the phone in the beginning, i had to only get used to it first before root... :p hehe... but even after root was figured out, i still took a little bit of time before being comfortable in trying to root the phone.

i think the official CL14 does a decent job with the battery... numus's code is more accurate; but the official is manageable compared to the original. :)
