Root Dropped Phone in uh "Water"

The "water" can take a long time to really dry out. I'd say put it back in the rice for several days. Moisture damage can take a while to manifest, and longer to work itself out. There's every chance the phone will be...quirky. It may take a couple of months before it starts acting, uh..."normal." Pull everything apart when drying, that'll help.

Looks like I'm SOL. My phone has gone berzerk.
I think I'm having residual issues after the 'tea break'. For a couple of weeks it was primarily shutting off on it's own. Then it was all back to normal other than one sticky button for a couple of weeks. Now it's lighting itself up constantly, and turning on the camera, usually when I'm trying to text or something.

I'm hunting Craigslist now for another one, or the Slider version.

EBay sells them cheap.
