Well this just arrived, and I have to say, I'm very happy with it. Its slim, unobtrusive to look at when it's open, and it wakes/sleeps the device. Also like the hard cover; should do a great job protecting it!

I like mine.... appears to be very similar (except for speaker slot, mine has a series of holes). It's currently $10.99 w/ free shipping, but I only paid $7.99 w/ free shipping when I pre-ordered. :D

So here's an interesting development: I've been using the YooMee case for a couple of days now, and the tablet has started acting weird. When I open the case, it wakes up, I can even swipe the circle to unlock the screen, but after that point, the screen is totally unresponsive. It is like the touchscreen has gone back to sleep. I have to push the power button to power it off then on again before it works normally. Maybe the magnet is a bad idea?

I think the charger needs to be involved somehow. Now that I have it unplugged, it is working perfectly normally again. The sequence of events seems to be: Close case, plug in charger, leave overnight, unplug charger, open case, unlock screen. At that point, the screen is non-responsive to touch. I'll find out tonight if the same sequence has the same result.

Normally, unplugging the charger wakes it up. I wonder if JB is getting confused by the charger unplug plus the magnet wake?

Turns out I can use my phone charger here at work to reproduce this 100% of the time. I need to have the tablet plugged into the charger while the cover is closed (I always give it a few minutes in this state), then unplug the charger followed immediately by opening the cover and swiping to unlock. The touch screen is always totally wacko at this point. Usually it is unresponsive, but I have seen it wait then suddenly process a slew of imaginary screen taps in totally different places than where I was trying to tap.

I would gladly report this bug to google, but a google search doesn't seem to turn up any place to report bugs...

so it's not case specific then?

1. what battery/weather/calendar widget is that on your home screen?
2. do you think a N7 with a TPU case on there would fit in the clips?

The widget is one of the many faces of One More Clock which lots of folks switched to after seeing examples in the home screen thread.

The tablet fits pretty tightly in the clips. Not sure if it would still fit with anything else on it.

I just received the YooMee case. I like the slim, compact feel but the sleep/wake isn't working ?? I also got the i-Blason and find it nice and serviceable but too bulky.

That's weird. I got the YooMee case today too, and the sleep/wake function does not work on mine as well. I'll play around with it some more, but I find it odd that some people report that it works, while others report that it doesn't.

Mine has holes for the speakers as well

Installed mine today. (It came on Friday when I was out of town.)

Very nice. Magnet works as you'd expect too. That magnet is sooo small.... :D

I saw that in a tweet and posted it in the forum. Very nice clock.

Only thing smart I've seen (yet) is the i-BLASON.

I ordered one of these a couple weeks ago, and after a snafu with the post office, and a new one getting sent with 2 day shipping, I finally got it Saturday. I also did the combo discount with the screen covers, and used the anti-glare one.

So far, I like the case, it fits great, the magnetic flap to make the screen sleep or awaken is cool, and the adjustable angles for either portrait or landscape is nice.

I messed up with applying the screen cover (when I was pulling off the 2nd layer, I accidentally pulled off the entire cover, after I had got rid of all the bubbles, so now there's a few small ones but not noticeable when the screen is on).

And when the case is folded out, it provides a flat surface on the bottom that is more convenient to put in the palm of my hand, rather than holding the case with my fingers, should I choose not to put it down somewhere.

That's why I buy 3-packs. Ruined my first cover exactly the same way. :D

You can lift one edge by using a piece of Scotch tape on the top and use another piece of tape to remove any lint off the bottom of your screen saver (sticky side to sticky side). I had to do this about 30 times to get everything looking good on my second cover. (I was NOT going to touch the 3rd one.) Always lift the edge closest to the boo-boo's you're trying to fix.

Just got a MoKo slim cover and I must say the quality is very nice for the price. This is coming from someone who knows how to work with leather. I did notice a chemical smell but it is going away fairly quickly. The wake on open works great and it isn't too bulky.

Amazon.com: MoKo(TM) Slim Cover Case for Google Nexus 7 Android Tablet by Asus, Black (with Automatic Sleep/Wake Function,Flip Stand, Elastic Hand Strap, and Stylus Loop)--Lifetime Warranty: Computers & Accessories

When you fold the front cover over to use the device, does it fold over flush against the device? I bought this case: BLUREX Magyc folio Case and when I fold over the cover, the left side of the device is thicker than the right side. It makes holding it in portrait mode awkward.
