leaked 2.1 back to stock 1.5

is there anyway to go back to 1.5? don't get me wrong 2.1 is way better but i want to root the crap out of this thing while i still have it before i get my Nexus

Currently no there is not. But the devs over on xda are working on it, and have been for a while. So just cross your fingers, sit back and watch for the time being. And enjoy 2.1!! lol.

By time nexus one comes out be to many roms for the eris. Honest opinion not worth getting a n1 now!

Regardless of how many roms come out and how much you overclock the eris, the n1 is just overall a better device (technology wise).

nevermind. after just checking the developer pulled it off xda. there is more work that needed to be done. it was supposed to take you back to an unrooted version of 1.5.
2.1 root will soon have a downgrade for those of you interested!

Don't you worry. You may not hear much about what devs are doing to try to rollback but if they do, there will be shouting in the streets and this forum will be alive with about 5 threads with the news.

ya so did i. but i also got the newest leak from yesterday. its amazing. i love my google navigator and i love the animated weather. 2.1 is awesome

They have a Downgrade from root 2.1 to non root 1.5 they are just waiting on Jcase to approve to release it
