HI,
is anyone experiencing this issue? i dont see this one posted yet.
i get into my phone and choose to go to messages or any other function. when you close out of the function you see a white screen with the green letters "HTC". then loading. it reloads the phone every time you change what you are doing on it.
anyone know how to fix this?

My curiosity usually gets the better of me and since I am a glutton for punishment and like beating dead horses...
Can anyone that did the update check to see if the shutter sound can be turned off when using the camera (either an option in the camera menu, or go into the camera with the phone on vibrate/silent)?

I was curious about this too and, unfortunately, you still cannot disable the shutter sound even if you put the camera in silent or vibrate mode.

After doing the update a few things that annoy me just a little...

My Pandora is not working via the phone.

The button where I could click on to see my notification does not work the same.

And when I get an email with a link, I can not click on it anymore..

Same here. Pandora on 3G shows the "Loading" rectangle and just loads one song after another without playing. It works on WiFI.
(reloaded before and after phone reset)

Wrong, this was befor I rooted. When honeycomb had the last update you were able to delete some items like Spiderman game, green lantern, some sprint apps. Again this was before I rooted. I just rooted 2 weeks ago. Lost phone got this one today already updated. But not able to delete like before. Really didn't want to root again.

Yes, ICS does not allow you to delete bloat, thus the reason why I said you took the OTA, meaning you updated to ICS, GB was not a problem, but for some reason they took that feature off from ICS, I do not know why, but many have said the same issue.

I cannot confirm yet, but I would assume the HTC Dev way should still work, if I hear anything I will report back, I would also get S-OFF if I were will make your life much easier, we will keep you posted if we hear anything, and you let us know also if you do finally get it rooted. ;)

Guess time to root against. If we can yet on ics

DonB and all the wise ones on this forum. Thanks for all the help you give! Please chime in if you have any input / insight on this post. I just updated to ICS and had some small issues getting the update to act correctly. Meaning the download and install went fine until the home screen came up and it stuck on the "Loading" for about 30 minutes. I rebooted the phone and it came up quickly but I had lost my stock clock widget and a few others. The were not available in the widgets section. I know some may not be compatible and I'll work through that, no biggie. Gallery would not show any photos from the SD, wallpapers, etc. I know that from the HeroS days that FR is a good thing but reading about loosing some apps and gaining back BW, (I gained alot of memory back with this update by loosing BW), I just was not wanting to do a FR. ANywho I remembered that sometimes just a good old battery pull and 30 second power button press can do wonders. Well it did. Once rebooted after the battery pull I go the "You have updated", blah, blah box. My Clock widget returned and my SD gallery and etc is working. In your opinion(s) could this be a good option for those that have not updated and or FR'ed yet. Seems to have worked fine for me. Thanks again for the mods, guides, and EVERYONE else who contributes to the community here.

I was going to ask about this... I still haven't taken the plunge and rooted yet, I was thinking of taking the OTA and playing with ICS for a while before making the final decision to root or not. I guess I'll hold off on the OTA update till it is confirmed that we can still use HTC Dev.

I apologize if this has been addressed...I went to change the radio values to 'WCDMA only' because I noticed call quality was lacking and I was able to do so but at the bottom of the phone info it says: '0.0.0.0 not allowed' I assume that's for the vocoder settings??? Should I type in a port proxy number somewhere?? Next to smsc? When I update or refresh smsc it just shows an error...Should I just leave smsc alone?

hi

few weeks ago i updated my htc evo 3D and now i have android 4.0.3 with htc sense 3.6, because my phone had asked me to do it, however few day ago I've noticed that my 2D camera is not working properly, there is no problem with 3D camera, but when i switch to 2D mode the image instead of being a normal picture seems to try being 3D but its not, image is doubled, does anybody have similar problems? Do you know what can i do to repair this? because its very annoying that i cant take normal pictures, i tried to make print/screen, but i couldnt work it out

Hard to say as everytime they release a new update many seem to have issues, I would first try to trouble shoot, have you tried the obvious first, put the phone 2D mode, then take the battery out for 10 seconds and then reinsert and reboot your phone ?, see if that resolves the issue, are you using the stock camera? if yes try download a different app and see if it works, third and not what you want to hear, doing a Factory Reset sometimes resolves all issues. Then if all else fails, I would suggest you call Sprint and make them aware of this issue, they will most likely replace your phone ;)
