schools starting to recommend N7's

a buddy of mine has a daughter who goes to a very tech savvy school and they listed some devices h asked me to gander at and loe and behold our beloved N7!

What grade of school are you talking about that lists a MacBook pro as an option??

is cool about the N7 though. half the price of the next closest competitor and more awesome.

Kinda weird that "app based" is a con, almost like he was thinking reeeeeaal hard of a con to put down so that "WiFi only" wouldn't feel lonely, LOL!

Base price is under $500 Is a Pro for the just under iPad
N7 has Great apps as Pro and app based as a con is sort of weird
I guess if they run office pro they get the tools they need, word, excel, PowerPoint.

I don't see the need for a high prices netbook when speed is not needed for a six year old

From my limited experience the stuff get broken and stolen quickly and in a year will most likely get replaced.

First thing that caught my eye too. Guess if it's an older generation it'd be alright.
