Root I cannot flash any os!!!

I need some help!! I have flashed cm7 before and today I was doing it again after going back to the Metro 2.2. I downloaded the latest version, 9-13-2011 one and the gapps, copied both to the root on the sc card and then I went on to flashing like I have done before but when it started to run the cm7 zipped file, it gave an error:
assert failed getprop ("ro.product.device") = "ascend
and then it stopped saying it failed. Now my phone is only booting the Huawei screen and no where else. I tried to download an earlier version and copy to the sd card but when I tried that, it says that my sd card is not writeable. I have mounted usb through clockwork recovery boot, but it is not working, I can see the files on the sd card, but I cannot delete any files nor can I move any files to the sd card.

Please help. I am now without a phone unless I get this fixed and I cannot buy another one, I have no money to do this.

Thanks!

No reader so I can't do that. I thought there might be a way to flash back to stock or the metro froyo using the usb cord and my pc, can anyone help me with that??

Do you have any other device that can take ad cards and is able to be connected to the computer? Jw

And here's how to return your phone to stock in case you don't: http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=

Follow it thoroughly and you should be back to stock. ;)

H'm.. M860? That's the ascend. How does it look? Is it on cricket or metro?

I know that is the weird thing. It is a metro phone and I have flashed cm7 before, but only the 7-28 version. I tried the latest, 9-13 and it crashed giving me error messages saying something about ascend not being correct. So frustrating. Now I hope I can re-root the phone, it gave me trouble the first time I had to root it!
