Hi I have problem to use Odin3

After upgrade from Android GingerBread 2.3.5 to Android IceColdSandwich 4.03 I have problem with Internet access on Desktop through USB. Simple USB mode on ICS 4.0.3 is not exsisted I contant with his Author -Lord Clokan, ask his advice, but he only tell me to download new tested version of ICS 4.0.3. anyway my conclusion is ANDROID 4.0.3 IceColdSanwich is very bad!!!!!! non stable version now I am understood that Android Gingerbread 2.3 much better, even desighn is not good like ICS but it have Internet pass-through mode! its more important than other fancy, but useless screen picture.

OK I need help to downgrade from Android ICS 4.03 to Gingerbread 2.3, where to find file for HTC Desire HD in Odin3 -for Bootloader, PDA, Phone, CSC file, please help me if you already use ODIn3 v1.83:rolleyes:

Thanks to reply, Actually I did not make this upgrade so I dont know about back up. I just read some article in the Internet & geuss may be ODin3 will be work, because many ppls made downgrade HTC with Odin. Yes now my phone is S-OFF, means i have ClockworkMod recovery, so what should I do? sorry for this question im just new begginer not expert on Android hacking

Right! in the Rom Manager v4.4.0.7 in Recovery -have Flash ClockworkMod Recovery: You must have the ClockworkMod Recovery installed to flash and restore ROMs! so when I push this botton it says - Error while downloading from server. Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection, and that your SD card is inserted and has free space! OK

When I turn off phone, push to Volume bottom & Energy bottom it directly comes to ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.7 ACE HACK KIT etc is it correct?

Ok I come to ClockworkMod Recovery -backup and restore- Advanced-Nandroid -advanced restore -and push it so it tell me:

ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.7 couldn`t open directory. No files found> and repeat it 3 times, so what should I do? Does it means I could not return back to Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread using ClockworkMod Recovery because its not saved previous version (thanks handyman who upgraded my phone & turned to bricket!)?? May be I should try to use other way like using ODin3, I saw it many peoples using it to downgrade from ICS to Gingerbread?

Here is cool for me, I'm night shift and at work so time isn't an issue. I can't access stuff like yahoo messenger here anyway. If I get busy, I might need to do some work though so don't panic if I can't answer you straight away.

If the backup isn't an option, you'll have to flash another ROM. Do you want something different, or do you want something like HTC put on the phone by default?

Who installed ICS by the way? Can you take it back and get them to restore your previous setup? I can say with 100% certainty that Odin isn't going to help you, it only works for Samsung handsets.

Unfortunatelly he dont like do recover (cause he said dont use-dont know well this version?!) so no any warranty! kkk
Anyway today I am downgraded my bricket from Android 4.0.3 IceColdSandwich (Thanks Lord ClockaN! kkk) to ANdroid 2.3.7. Well my 1st impression it little be better than 4.0.3, BUT it still have not Internet Passthrogh mode! which I extremely need to install & activated any neccesary programms. So i geuss i need again downgrade till 2.0 Android (Most of important it should be Officiall ROM with Internet passthrough) Unfortunatelly in our country, even in capital we dont have much WiFi -only ADSL, Broadband.
Im also interesting CyanogenMod 7, does it stable? have official ROM, does it have Internet passthrough mode?

Hi

I am new to this. And I apologize if I am posting on wrong place.

I have htc desire and have recently rooted it and updated with Ice Cream Sandwich latest version 0.16. And I found it CRAP. Always my phone gets hung up and need to restart it every time by removing battery. Neither Play store nor any other app can work properly. So finally I have decided to go back to gingerbread which was far more better then this one. So would like to request you if some brilliant minded people can help me.

Thank you for considering.

Hi :)

This forum section is the Desire HD. If your device is the HTC Desire, you will need to post in that forum so that people with the same device can help you out.

If you like I can move your post for you over there for you? Let me know :)
