Jelly bean or the camera?
Well all that is left on this rom that needed to be added is camera, video playback and theme chooser. If you can fix them 3 then jelly bean should be easy cause all that is different from what I seen was lock screen and notification menu.Sadly I lack the skills to be a dev, but I hope to see this rom get finished. To me this is the best rom I have found for the prevail and I use it as my daily driver. Thanks again to all that put their blood, sweat, and tears into this forum to make things like this happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't a device running CM9 act as an ICS device? I ask this, because the main reason I flashed this CM9 was to be able to use ICS apps. Mainly, Minecraft. I know that its a resource intensive app, very demanding. But I figured that it should be able to run smoothly enough on lowest settings if the device were overclocked. But when I try to run the app, I get the dialog, "Unfortunately, Minecraft - Pocket Edition has stopped."

Input?

This could extend beyond just os. we have a very limited account of ram, an armv6 processor, a fairly small screen, and the word ALPHA tagged on the rom. We are facing video playback issues (iirc) among other things... so, you're not really wrong, just perhaps not looking at the bigger picture

I think it would be at least as difficult for the devs to port over as this CM9 was, if not more. But I'm on the HTC Design forums just as much as the Prevail forums, and 2Fast4u88 (kind of our KoumaJutsu and Bloodawn put together) has ported over CM10 successfully, though he's working on it a lot and hasn't decided its quite what he wants to give to us yet. But he has said that there are a LOT of ICS fixes in JB or CM10, so that makes it a lot more desirable to work with than CM9. Lordvincent was right though, we do only have an armv6 processor, though it seems like a lot of progress has been made in obtaining their drivers from qualcomm. Meaning, we might actually be able to work from source instead of just writing up hacks (for the processor itself, that is).

So palm, that being said, I do think it would be a good idea. But, only to somebody able to work with CPU drivers on top of ROMs and kernels. Also, I wouldn't ask for it myself, I would just hope for it. It might get as far as an alpha, like this, or a beta if really lucky.

Fact is, I can see a lot of people who would buy the prevail, buying Boost's new Kyocera Hydro instead. ICS for an extra $40 instead of paying for the $300 EVO, would sound very enticing to people. That means that as Prevails keep breaking, our beloved devs will probably buy other devices, and it will be up to fewer people to try to keep developing technology that is quite near to its maximum potential already.

In conclusion, good idea, but unlikely to happen.
