Does the nexus 7 have a large enough screen?

I'm debating on whether I should get this or the Asus transformer 300 10 inch. The biggest factor is size. The nexus 7 reminded me more of a super sized phone where the Asus really feels like it could be more useful with typing and web browsing. Are you able to be really accurate typing on the n7? Thanks

That was exactly what I was thinking prior to going with the nexus, after fondling other seven inch tablets I decided it was fine, the tf300 was sweet but I don't see myself lugging one around as much as I do the N7. I type easily and fast enough I haven't even bothered to put swype on it yet which is the first thing I do on my phones. There is some kind of bug that skips a letter while typing ever-so-often though, that's my only annoyance. Otherwise the keyboard is very good.

I have a Viewsonic Gtab which is 10 inches also its probably a lot heavier than the tf300 however after using the N7 for a while now it feels so great in the hand its light ad one handed use is a breeze unlike the gtab. IMO if you need a 10 inch screen and you want to do serious work on it get a netbook for less. If your only using it for multimedia the N7 is perfect.

I have both a TF201 and an N7. It really depends on what I'll be doing to which tablet I use. If it's a short trip to the bar or coffee shop, I'll take the N7. If it's a lengthy trip away from home, I'll take my Prime. With using Swiftkey on my N7, typing is really nice. It's so light and comfortable to hold. I rarely use my Prime without the keyboard dock, so I never type on screen.

No offense to N7 owners, but depending on use and if only having one tablet, the TF300 is a better option than it's smaller, storage constrained cousin.

To each his own rushmore. For some the larger screen is a must have, for others, the N7 is the right size. Just like iOS is the right choice for some, for others, like me, it isn't. I haven't used a ten inch tablet myself so I can't speak to the difference, I can say I am very happy with the size of my N7. It is large enough for me to easily use two hands yet small enough I can still comfortable use it with one.

For me pricing was a consideration as well. I would love to jump all in but I can't swing the extra $$ or at least I can't justify it. Plus its been a great starter tablet for me and I like knowing I will get the newest software as well. ;)
