Well guys as you know the new cwm has been release by and it fixes many bug as well as the 2 minute reboot bug.

We believe that we have fixed the issue of flashing kernels too but we never testes it before release as mav's phone is already bricked at Samsung and we need my phone for development of megatron 6.0.

So we really wanna know if the new cwm works with flashing kernels so here's a flashable.zip of Bobzhomes OC kernel. Once you download it onto your sdcard boot into cwm and select flash zip and then locate the zip where you downloaded it on your ad card and select yes. Once flashed reboot your phone and hope that your phone doesn't gets stuck at the "SAMSUNG" screen for more than 15 seconds.


Well there you have it folks a free chance to possibly brick your ultra.

But HEY, look on the bright side you'll be the first to flash a kernel with the samsung transform ultra properly if it boots correcly. Your name will go down in history, it will make headlines you'll have a school named after you

I already have the overclock kernel with the new CWM ....Status FC: i was running it at 1.6 and got a system ram dump and battery, reconfigured the voltage and now it seems to be working fine???

also though im not sure if this matters but i used the original kernel and module injectors, is your flashable zip the same as the original kernel?

Just so theres no confusion, I meant Bobzhomes release to the overclock kernel when i said "original"

The flashable.zip kernel is bob current oc kernel you wont have to reflash the module injectors.

i think everyone who reads this thread needs to say thanks to post #16 because i did a big thing for this community at a big risk of my phone.
i dont know if i would have been able to replace my phone if it would have bricked. none of you had the balls to do it first. so i think i deserve it from everyone besides katracho cause he did it already. he doesnt even have his phone right now because it bricked and he was thoughtful enough to say thanks.

Thanks man, lol I would have done it but since mavericks phones is already brick and I didn't wanna brick mine cause that would mean megatron 6.0 would be delayed for another 2 months. You are a big help to this community even if it means testing something you dedicated your phone, thank you for trusting me.

ok what does this mean going forward now that the kernal no longer bricks the phone as often? and whats the error status 7 doing or telling us? does this also mean we're looking at better custom roms and cm based (cm7/cm9/cm* jb) . sorry i'm still noobin' it up in here.
