Yes, that's the software I have. But I haven't used it since I had the Optimus! Do you know if I can used the same steps I did with the Optimus, for the Esteem, I'm not sure if I need to do anything different???

Yeah it should be the same. Add the vs910.dll from the file menu. Then go to the prl part and add it.

i use QPST 2.7.366 always gets the job done in seconds anyways im wondering where exactly are prl files located in our phones and could we manually push it/replace it?

No I think it's something that gets flashed that creates several or a bunch of files. I think that prl file is merely a package. Kinda recovery. Recovery gets flashed but theres not set file on the phone that we could push instead of flashing. That's my guess at least. lol

Ok, I just got home and checked my computer this is the same software l have, thought it was the one Fuzzy mentioned but it's not! I don't remember how to use it, it has been awhile..... When I plugged my phone in it not showing up on QPST!? I know it's something simple, I think I can remember the rest of the steps!.... But I can't remember how to get my phone to show up!

its a good theory since i dont think any1 knows where exactly its stored lol.

The prl is just your preferred roaming list. It should only be a single file.

If would be easy enough to locate by using root explorer after updating to check for changes.

I know we had prls we could push for the evo

lol we know what a prl file is but what we were discussing was the actual location since it probaly would be faster to use android commander push new prl or maybe the same amount of time but i think android commander would be easier for newbs to use if we could find location so im gonna try to search to see if i can find its actual location.

lol relax go to settings then about phone then status look for imei

then go to this site and paste it there and hit convert it will give u your spc code
