Is it possible to flash the HTC Evo V to the Sprint HTC Evo 3D ROM ICS

I want to remove the Virgin Mobile Branding off the phone. I want to know if I can flash the ROM and get the ICS update that was released from Sprint earlier this month.

Why would you want Sprint branding?

I don't quite understand what you mean.
Do you want to use this phone on Sprint or just have it say Sprint in your lock screen and notification bar.

The latter can be performed by using leedroid tasks which is built into some roms (harmonia for example).

No but there's like 2900 guides on how to flash a rom which you can read so you don't brick it

I was wondering if we are able to flash the new Sprint firmware that came with the OTA they had earlier this month? I don't know for sure if this will affect our radio or anything, but most of the newer ROMs for the Sprint EVO 3D are based on this new firmware. We can't flash them unless we also flash this firmware. So is it possible to flash it without breaking any of our VM services?

There's like 1 or 2 roms that support it. To my knowledge no one has tried to flash the new hboot because it's just so useless compared to the eng hboot. With our 1.57 or sprints 1.58 you are stuck with sense. And I don't see the point in that.

I am not referring to the hboot. I am referring to the firmware. The firmware that Sprint users had before the OTA was 2.17.X.X. The new one is 2.89.X.X.

if you want your phone to run off sprint based roms you will need to S-Off and follow the fix everything make your phone an evo 3d thread
