Well, I know for a fact, that my boss got an invitation to a metropcs event at a casino to check out the Lg Motion 4G on Aug 30th. I was gonna go to get some hands on, but unfortunately I'm 1 year shy of stepping into the casino lol. ICS sure damn looks nice on it tho. S4 SoC is a nice addition as well. (if its really the chipset going into the phone)

Just wear a suit(tie would clinch the deal), carry business case/ brochures/gadgets.....slick back hair, remove piercing regalia, go thru hotel part first then thru to casino.
Act like u belong....no one will even bat an eyelash.

My local, fairly clueless btw, is getting a mailing this Friday or Monday re new models, including order form for how many of each...
10 days/2 weeks he'll have new stuff.
So that's at the earliest, n I doubt anything major not only would be available so quickly after being announced....but also released with such a whimper n on non holiday/significant retail sales period.

not to poop on anyone's parade if they are excited for tomorrow. But, I work at a Metro store and I haven't received any news about the S3 coming tomorrow. I don't think the phones are even up to order.

He's right. I haven't gotten anything either on the GS3. We're still promoting the lightray 4G. The motion 4G will indeed be the next LTE device soon. We're still expecting the GS3 after September.

MetroPCS service for me isn't good enough for me to support 500MB a day. Well unless of course I'm on WIFI at which point I'd be on my laptop.

It isn't just data though, it is how many minutes my wife and I use, how many texts we send as well.

I meant overall usage, including home internet. I don't usually download much, unless i want to try out a rom.

anybody know a release date or something? i'am anxiously waiting & saving up for it, i like my esteem but it just seems dated, not to mention screenshots lose quality & look washed out when i upload them to instagram & i take alot of pictures & i heard the gs3 camera is similar to or if not better than the iphone 4s. i'am also curious as to if its gonna offer just one color or more.

thanks, this wait is agonizing though lol , hopefully they offer more galaxy s phones next yr like the s4 the same time as thee other carriers now that metro is becoming an official carrier.

Oh nice! I will definitely be getting the galaxy s3. But I wish they were getting a galaxy note. Just wishful thinking on my part. But the s3 would be great, as long as it isn't too watered down of course

I don't think anybody has to worry about the metropcs version of the s3 being watered down.if Samsung wasn't willing to make changes to please the likes of att or Verizon and so forth, there would be no way they would do it for metro. I have heard rumors of it having the quad core exynos but I'm still expecting the same 1.5ghz s4.

There's no way we're getting the quad core since it doesn't support lte.

geeze ya way off on specs the quad core version isnt for the us at all although u could buy one from amazon or ebay but dont think about using it on metro. gsm and metro's hybrid cdma/lte technology isnt compatible. anyways it will be only a dual core 1.5 but with more ram than the international version. they have 1ghz of ram and we have 2ghz of ram.

The Korean version of the s3 will be quad core and volte compatible.

So it is possible but I don't think we'll get that.

i think our s3 will be volte since metro announced their volte plans and samsung announced it for the s3 but who knows its a toss up.

even if its not voLTE out of the box they'll more than likely make it voLTE capable through a firmware update.
