Can I download ICS without waiting for OTA update?

Is the US ICS firmware for the P7510 floating around somewhere? Or do we have to wait for the OTA update? Have checked a couple of times per day the last few days, and no update yet. Getting a little tired of waiting...

Two ways:
Use Kies, but you'll probably have to do a reset on your tab to get it to work.
That's how I did it; worked fine. The tab now also connects to Kies with no problems.
Second way is to d/l the update from the Sammobile website and flash it.

I'd rather not bother with Kies if I can avoid it.

Flashed the update file from Sammobile. Thanks.

Flashing ICS seems to have killed root, which I guess makes sense since everything got wiped. Flashed CWM recovery via Odin, but flashing root from within CWM doesn't seem to work on ICS (it worked fine on my GT running HC).

Edit: Need a different root file for ICS. Can get it here: http://galaxytabhacks.com/galaxy-tab-10-1-root/how-to-root-ics-on-galaxy-tab-10-1/

Exactly what I did. Odin, re-root.

Is it a must to install CWM if I want to root, and if so, why?
When I read various threads on different sites, seems rolling recovery (and other display problems) is a persistant problem for a lot of people after installing CWM.
I'm interested in rooting because there are some files that can be edited to enable the 5Ghz wireless band which is not enabled now. Root is needed to do that from what I've read.
Thanks.
