my questions are these.

the buttons at the bottom don't turn off. the screen does. buttons at bottom stay lit up even though screen is asleep. how can i turn the button lights off?

my phone isn't recognizable in the pc. i get the moto icon. and the two drives but those 2 aren't accessible. there's no label associated to access the two drives.

no music player. and when i install some other apps. my music isn't picked up now. i've inserted the card into pc and they are all still there. and playable in the pc.

i installed the liquid rom. not the modified/tweaked version.

and how can i make the keyboard bigger???

The problem with the phone lights is commonly discussed although I haven't heard of it happening since some of the really early ICS roms that came out. Anyways the fix was to cycle the auto brightness on and off and then the key lights should turn off with the screen.

For the PC problem, make sure you have the newest Motorola drivers installed, make sure you are using your official USB cable, try using another PC just to see if it helps or not.

I'm not familiar with Liquid rom so some of your other issues may be associated with that. I haven't had any issues with the phone recognizing music files.

You can't really make the keyboard bigger, you might be able to find an app for "bigger ICS keyboard" or install some other third party app that claims to have bigger keys.

Always make sure you read and research before you start making any changes to the phone, stuff like the lights not turning off is talked about all the time.

the problem turned out to be liquid rom. modified. i tried liquid regular and problems were solved. minus the keyboard still too small.

only problem with liquid regular it's more basic then the modified. which has extra menu features.

i think i can live with .232 though. at least it's a 4.version instead of GB. hopefully the dang glitches are gone.

now if i can just figure how to get the phone to stop vibrating with key presses. and figure out how to add widgets i'll be set

will try that swiftkey thing. thanks.

SwiftKey has an option to adjust key height. It's also some really nice looking themes & the best 'next word predictions' of any keyboard on the market. I know I sound like a commercial, but I'm telling you, SwiftKey is the best.[/QUOTE]

Judging from all the comments on line re Swiftkey, I must be the only person on the planet that doesn't like it. I tried it for more than a week and finally uninstalled it, on my Nexus 7--It kept coming up with intrusive replacements for words, as I typed. I wouldn't even have tried it, had it not been for the fact that my favorite, Swype, is too large on the N7. I still use Swype exclusively on my Bionic because I find it the fastest, most accurate KB for ME.
