First, the obligatory disclaimer:

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE!!! IF YOU BRICK, IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! Although, being the nice guy I am, I will try and help you unbrick to the best of my abilities. Also, I am using the latest version of CWM, which will probably have some bearing on your success of installing this.

*AHEM*, now that that's out of the way, thank you for visiting my thread :) I'm assuming you're reading this because you want a stock-rooted image of the latest update for your Sprint Transform Ultra.

A few of the things I've included/modified (depending on which backup you download):
-Rooted.
-BobZhome's kernel pre-installed. (BobZhome , I apologize for not getting permission in advance...pm me if this is a problem)
-RomToolbox Lite, Superuser by ChainsDD, Titanium Backup (free version), and SpareParts+ Lite pre-installed.
-CPU set to 576min, 1401max, and smartassv2 governor using Rom Toolbox Lite's built-in CPU tweaker
-Qik messenger, SprintID, MyFiles, and Sprint Mobile Wallet uninstalled. I've found the first two to be some of the worst battery suckers of all the bloatware Sprint installs on the phone. The other two were just because.
-FG11 Build-only update (I will include baseband as well, as soon as I figure out how).

----------------------------
:Files you may need or want:
----------------------------
CWMKeeper - in case you want CWM but no root; helps keep CWM on the phone. Instructions in the hidey-place -->
*Not needed if you plan to root*
1. Download cwmkeeper.zip to the root of your sdcard
2. Odin CWM to your phone (if you don't know how to do this, please search the All-things root sub-forum), then immediately go into recovery mode.
3. Once in CWM, from the main menu, choose "install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > cwmkeeper.zip". When it's done, it should say you're rooted (thanks to bads3ctor for his tu_root_.zip)
FG11-stock-noroot - Just as the name implies; bare-bones stock with update. All I added was CWMKeeper. Follow instructions below to install.
sprint-fg11-rooted+_v2 - Stock FG11 with a few goodies thrown in.

------------------------
:Installation instructions:
------------------------
1. Download the desired file abovehttps://dl.dropbox.com/u/84283344/sprint-fg11-rooted+.zip
. If you're using your phone, skip to step #3.
2. Connect your phone to the computer, and unzip the contents to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup. Skip to step #4.
3. Unzip the contents to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup.
4. Use your preferred app/data/info backup and recovery tool to back up your information. A popular app is named after a type of metal. ;)
5. Reboot phone into recovery mode.
6. At the main menu, navigate to "backup and restore > backup"
7. Wait a few minutes while the phone works its magic.
8. Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache. Dalvik cache can be found under "Advanced" from the main menu.
9. At the main menu, navigate to "backup and restore > restore > sprint-fg11-rooted+"
10. Give the phone a few minutes to do its thing.
11. Reboot the phone, and bask in the FG11 glory. :D
12. Re-download backup app, and restore your apps and data.

:Thanks/Recognition:

These folks have in one way or another helped me put out this image. Without their hard work, effort, and sacrifice, I would still probably be trudging along with a straight-out-the-box TU, and counting the days till I could afford a better phone. I've listed them in no particular order, aside from what popped into my head, fried as it is from sleep deprivation (it's 7:47 AM local time as I write this :p )

-bads3ctor for all the work done to figure out how to root the 2.3.6 in the first place, and for the tu_root archive.
-BobZhome for his kernel, and the work he did there.
-The creators of the apps I used/installed to do some debloating and such.
-mavrikmeerkat and Chevanlol for their work with CWM.
-Loota for his SPRINTSTOCK image, which allowed me to successfully receive the update in the first place, helping me figure out how to install apps without needing to attach a Google account to the phone, and helping others with this when I was unavailable.
-Anyone who has helped the above-mentioned people by testing, adding comments and insight to their hard work, and the like.
-This community, for being supportive, die-hard fans of a nifty little device, and inspiring me to help in any way I can.

If anyone feels I've made an error, and left a name out on the above Wall of Glory, please PM me and let me know.

--------------------------------
:Future Releases/Other thoughts:
--------------------------------
-Hope to include "Reboot Recovery" at the very least to the power menu, as soon as I find the file(s) responsible for the power menu, and how to add the option.
-(If enough interest is shown in my little project) More bloatware removal, as I become aware of it.
-Will be including baseband, as soon as I find out how
-Any suggestions to what I should add or remove? Please feel free to drop me a pm or reply to this thread. :)

latest baseband? and you said it's 2.3.6? holy custom rommers man! if im currently running Chev's rom, which of course is on 2.3.4 until 6.0 comes out, can i flash this backup and if need be flash back to $hevrom? also is it possible to take this and rip out all the sprint bloatware to have a barebones version for minimalists and devs to play with? ps great job man!

EDIT: i just reread the OP and saw that you took out some of sprints bloat. my bad lol

You could, but when you flash shevrom back over this, I'm pretty sure you would lose the update. If you want both, your best bet is to wait for Chevan's 6.0 release, which if I understand correctly, is just around the corner.

Yeah, I did remove a little of the bloatware, but guaranteed there's a lot more that could go. If shevrom is anything to go by, then a couple of the apps I use on a daily basis are bloat. :p But anyway, I've only removed the things I felt comfortale removing, and knew for sure to be bloat.

ok so i went to flash and now im getting a screen that has RAM DUMP MODE at the top and it says format: watchdog timeout occur!! what do i do?

Rut-roh, Raggy! You, sir, may have bricked your device  I've heard that if you pull the battery fast enough and reboot, you might be able to save the device.

I'm sorry :( I. Hope you're able to save it,one way or another. If this happens to too many others, I'll be pulling the image as a safety precaution...I don't want to be responsible for bricking peoples' phones.

If we backup our phones couldn't we just restore it and everything would be alright?

I've heard mixed reviews on the subject. Some seem to get it and are able to go on as if nothing happened. Others (like bads3ctor) get it, and there's just no recovering the device without sending it to Samsung. What I do know for sure, is those who lucked out all say they pulled the battery as soon as the phone ram dumped, and they were able to go frrom there.

I still feel bad; it's like selling a friend a car only to hear the engine blew on them on their way home. Best of luck to you on getting your Ultra up and running again :)

and yet one more update and i shall be good! after bricking then freaking out then managing to recover a stock image from odin, i decided to try flashing this image one more time and it succeeded. i think it was an app i had on my phone called Watchdog...supposed to keep track on apps in case something is acting up. idk what exactly happened but in any case your image is golden

Im back on $hevrom for now until i have a chance to play with it but yeah it looks really good. im havinng an issue with rom toolbox which is the app im using ffor backups. It force closes on me. Also i really wanna go in and remove the rest of the bloatware and get this puppy as light as possible. I do like chevs drop down menu and stock doesnt have it. Idk i bet u could slap some tweaks into it and mark it up as a custom rom and ppl would love it. Also i wanna thank you guys for being concerned lol great community!

I have had a RAM dump before installing something. I really don't remember as I have done soooo much to this phone. When I realized it was in RAM dump mode, I had no idea what it was. So I waited for like maybe 3 minutes to see what was happening. So i decided to pull battery and start over and it worked just fine.

Really don't want to trump YOUR thread, (I really don't).

If anyone wants to just update their baseband only without having to re-install everything, hit me up. We (PH8AL and I) are still looking for a tester.

Great work - xaelith

Ram dump means the phone crashed kind of like a blue screen of death for windows but this is for android.. it doesn't neccesarily mean the phone is bricked but it can mean that..

Watchdog is the stock task killer which kills apps that run wild and use too many resources.. it was probably just a bad flash.

Are you certain this updates the baseband? If so how did you include that in the cwm backup?

Nope i didnt. I only had an issue transferring the files to my phone in recovery mode. All I did was just restart the phone and drag n drop the files like that then after that I went back into recovery mode and flashed the ROM.

well i wiped data and cache and what not so maybe like Loota said abive, i just had a bad flash. that might also be a reason why rom toolbox was force closing on me.

xaelith said that the image is rooted but you will need to install superuser but it was in the app drawer so idk what's up with that. maybe its like a leftover shortcut in windows or something. i wonder if the reason i was getting a force close on rom toolbox is cuz i didnt have su installed fully

Oh cus what I did was install it from the play store
