Hello everyone,
I'm a new android and nexus 7 user.
Overall, I'm happy with my tablet. Being an old iPhone user, I can see that this OS still needs some improvements.
First of all my battery life gauge doesn't work properly. And sometimes it shows some kind of alert like my battery is shot. Couple of times it indicated that my battery is empty after 4-5 hours of charging. It has been 2 weeks since my tablet was delivered.
The reason I'm writing is that in some news websites I visit quite often, when I tap on thumbnails to see the dedicated photo it takes me to its page right after letting me see the photo for a moment. On my PC and on my iPhone it's not the case. It's really annoying me and I'm willing to do anything to fix it. Any advice will be appreciated.
www.hurriyet.com.tr (This is the one of the websites you can check. Hen you tap on the numbers below big pictures it will take you to its page where it's suppose to show the pic on main page)

Actually its doing it correctly. On my PC, If I click on the number, it takes me to the article page, same as tapping it on the Android browser. Tapping the number on the Android browser corresponds to clicking it on a PC. However if I hover my mouse on a number, the picture changes. I guess that's what you're after?

It seems you are trying to look for the mouse hover feature on PCs. When you just point your mouse at a number then the picture changes. I have no idea how to do that on an Android, though, since I don't need it. But it seems from that website you can just click on the "play" button after number 12 and you can see all the pics.

Yes, actually it would be hovering, that website was not a good example.

On my Iphone when I tap on it, it only shows me the photo and does not take me to its page. There are bunch of other websites I occasionally visit and have same problem. Only solution I have is trying to tap on it like you would do if you want to open it on new tab then canceling. But it's really annoying.

:DHell yeah, I found a way to do it. I don't know if they intented to do it but on my device if you tap one of your finger(preferably the hand you are holding the tablet) to android button place and then tap on those numbers it act like HOVERING.

By the way I was reading this article(below) when I thought of it. It is a nice one about comparison mouse actions and touch screen actions.
