I was searching for tv-out compatibility for the marquee but I saw at phonearena.com that the phone has an fm radio?
I was tring to confirm whether this was true or not as well as tv out.

EDIT: This forum site must confirm that there is an FM radio on the marquee, i looked at the specs, so how many devs does it take cook up an FM transmitter?

One of this phone's specs even said it had gorilla glass.

Ha, well to add to the confusion the gorilla glass sites says it does now too, but I know you heard different from your source. In any case, my glass is still flawless after almost a year, so don't care! :)

So far as the fm, I thought I read that it's just a common functionality built into a lot of android phone chipsets, but a lot of times the functionality just isn't implemented. I'm not sure that means only kernel support needed, or manufacturers not connecting antenna to headphone, etc, but I guess with apps like tunein radio I'm happy to not have to care about that either.

Edit: Just took a look, and the "Spirit FM Radio Unlocked" app on the market has it in the "These devices should work:" list in the XDA thread linked for compat info. (Well, mentions Boost version...) Anyone want to drop 10 beans to find out? :)

Yet another edit: Tried out the $2.50 light version under the 15min return on my Sprint Marquee, and no go - "FM Not Available". I'm using CTMod and MarqueeUnleashed 1200Mhz v3.1 kernel.

Its grouped together with the opti black, opti black has it but im "pretty" sure the boost marque does not. Anyone feel free to add input

Yeah the Gorilla Glass website does have the Marquee listed as a device with Gorilla Glass coating. The Sprint and Boost versions are almost exactly the same. So i would say it's safe to assume the Boost version has Gorilla Glass. I've had my Boost Marquee for about 9 months, dropped it several times, and there's not one scratch on my screen. I'm not sure about the FM radio though.

yeah maybe. ive only dropped mine once and there's definitely some scratches. Not too deep tho because i baby my electronics. I just find it weird that lg makes no mention of it.

This definitely doesn't have gorilla glass or fm radio. Tmobile puts fm on their android devices but for some reason sprint ops out. Just like with the optimus v and optimus s. It's just not there. The first day I got my marquee I wiped it on my shirt and the tiniest of scratches is on there (which I can't tell because I put a zagg on it) now.

The optimus black has an FM radio, not the marquee. The marquee is sprints CDMA version of the optimus black.:)
