Hello this may be a reposted question here but I will ask as I havent found the exact answer I need. I have recently been given a Triumph with a bad usb charger port. I purchased a after market charger and battery so problem one is fixed.

Second problem is that it was given to me with cm7 installed. So I rolled it back to a nandroid backup of a completely stock rom I found on here . Will i be able to activate this phone and switch over to it from my OV with the clockwork recovery and all still there or does it have to be completely bone stock. If so where can i find the tutorial for that procedure . Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm thinking you should start over from scratch. (I would hope that unless you want HDMI, you check out MTDEV CM7) and then install all your apps from there. I would not recommend attempting to transfer thing over with Titanium Backup. It usually is nothing but issues. Especially since the two phones are so different architecture wise. But have no fear! Google automatically syncs your contacts and purchases over to the next phone. You will still have to reinstall your apps again, though. And take out your SD Card from the OV and put it in the Triumph if you need it.

I was planning on using a cm7 rom after activation I was just wondering if having the completely stock rom running on the phone if it will activate for me. It is a bonestock nandroid rom on it now. I have been through the rooting process and hundreds of roms on my optimus v but never backwards and i am worried about activation. Just wondering.

Oh yeah sorry. You need to activate on stock. You cannot activate on anything else. May work on some Froyo ROMs, but not worth finding out the hard way. Best to activate on stock. Make sure you have a good data signal when you activate. Best to transfer your phone number over to the Triumph from the OV. You can find out more on their site.

Your welcome. If you need Flash Player (since it's now gone from the Play Store), check out my upload here.

It can sometimes be re-activated on the Virgin Mobile website, but other times you will have to contact VM over the phone to re-activate it (I have swapped 3 phones and two I had to call VM). Usually all you need is the MEID number (I believe). But you will have to flash the factory ROM with all the VM software and un-root it as well.
