ive been reading alot of articles on how htc will update all the one series phones to jelly bean and some belive htc phones with s3 processors such as sensation and rezound will also be updated. do you guys think we will also get updated.

Probably not. There's a pretty good unofficial AOKP JB release on XDA tho.

That article is what they are guessing htc will release. It is doubtful we will get any updates and if the evo 3d ics update is any indication, I personally don't want it.

Once jmz gets his evo I'm sure we will get a pretty dang good build of both CM9 and cm10. Eventually.

Its possible we could receive an update to Sense 4.1 with Jelly Bean but that would probably be after the One X, One S, Incredible 4G LTE, and the Evo LTE get Sense 4.5

This is great news. I don't know about you guys, but after trying agraben's rough CM10 build, and now AOKP JB by team dirt, I can't go back to ICS.

Yes, aosp roms will only work with downgraded hboot.

I already replied to your PM, but I figured I'd reply here too in case anyone else has the same question:

The only CM10 released so far was a very early (but usable) alpha by agraban on XDA -- it was never even publicly released, but the 0.1 alpha was available on his goo.im download page. I don't think it's still posted (agraben is no longer developing for our device), and honestly I wouldn't bother. If you want Jelly Bean, I'd definitely go try out AOKP JB by team dirt, it's more advanced at this point than the CM10 build was.

If you do try out AOKP JB, I'd recommend either anthrax kernel version 3.0.4 (don't use a newer version, it won't work), or Mac kernel which should both work well. But let the phone boot up once with the default kernel before trying to flash another kernel-- I've been running into issues if I flash the kernel immediately after the rom/gapps.

Where are the links at to everything? That AOKP is not another Sense based rom correct? Cause I don't see what everyone likes about Htc Sense cause it blows.

yeah I just found and downloaded 1.5. Whats not gonna work on our evo v 4g? Now I just need to find and read up on anthrax kernel version 3.0.4....
