Thoughts on MetroPCS new unlimited everything plan for $55.

So if I'm an existing member with an Optimus M on the $50 plan (lol) but want that new $55 plan and purchase the LG Motion...will that work, or no?

yes if purchase and activate a Motion tomorrow or before promo ends, you can get the 55$ plan. Your optimus is on the 3G plan, not a 4G plan

Any customer with a MetroPCS 4G LTE phone can switch to this plan. If you find one on the street, or ebay or were willed it..you can activate it on a 55$ plan ,providing its a Metro 4G LTE phone

i was getting excited looking at the motion and for only 150 it looks like a freakin amazing phone... but... then i got to the screen size and was like o well it was good while it lasted... lol cant give up my 4.3in esteem... deal breaker.

I feel the same way, when i first got my esteem after the ascend i was like this thing is huge look at the notification bar lmao. This looks like a good one though but i will wait until something tickles my pickle

The ZTE Anthem should be 4.3". It isn't as good spec-wise. But it still looks like it could have potential.

Otherwise the only other alternative appears to be the S3. Which would make sense. The Motion is the price it is because of the compromises it makes. The S3 is the no-compromise phone and it shows that in the price.

i think the only thing lacking is the screen size but Im happy with it just the same.

Well, my OM has a 3.2 screen, this is 3.5 so slightly bigger. I was just at the Metro store, it's a little lighter, feels better, I was really impressed with - in every aspect it's an improvement from my current phone.

Actually, I have one minor issue. It makes that sound similar to a single cricket chirp whenever you touch anything, I have NEVER liked that sound.

Small price to pay, I guess.

Disable "audible selection" in the sound settings. Should solve that.

Personally I'm still on the fence on the screen size. But my contract doesn't run out till August 31st, so there should be more information on the Anthem by then (considering it should be out by then). But the specs are amazing otherwise.
