What's the catch?

-decent screen
^ This would be the catch.

Shift in perception. Years ago 4" was a large size phone, 3.5" was decent and people were questioning whether 4.3" was 'too big'. Now 5" gets thrown around without people laughing about their pocket size and 4" is decent size.

Add in AMOLED/NOVA/HD/etc. screen technologies.

A standard 3.5" screen is, by today's standards, a small budget phone. The people spending the real money want at least a 4" phone, if not a 4.3".

Don't get me wrong, this is a great phone. Just from a marketing standpoint, perceptions are more important then reality.

From my point of view if it does not lag and very responsive it's a good phone.

But its a confusing launch. The rebate form only has space for one MEID.

When I get to work ill check again but I am pretty sure the forms we have have 2 slots for MEID. Otherwise people could get two for 200, I went to a seminar today covering this phone and other changes. I guess it is a rough launch, I have customers looking strait at the poster we have for the offer still confused, it is a lot if info.

despite the specs it has a small screen, no HDMI out, and no led lights.

its the same reason the esteem costs more than the connect.

I don't use HDMI out, not even on my tablet. The led lights are a good addition, but again I have an admire. Depending on what phone you have switching to the motion might not be much of an upgrade.

I don't understand the rebate? If I only buy ONE phone (LG Motion 4G), can I get the $50 visa card rebate or not?

Guys the way the rebate works is like this You buy one lg motion at 149 buy the secound at the same time at 149. The secound one will get the 50 dollar mail and rebate.

149.
149. +
_______
300 =
- 50 Mail and rebate.

Imo Theyre testing their 4g network with a phone that can swallow a huge amount of data. I used 8gigs my first month.

Am I getting this correct.
-Phone has decent processor
-bunch of ram
-bunch of space
-good (as advertised) battery life.
-decent screen

Why are they putting it out for so cheap. $100 after MIR any owners or else who might explain it to me please.

I used like 10gb for my first month. xD
I should mention I got the phone half way through that month as well... reason being, began using 4g instead of WiFi for music and movies. (Mostly Pandora) simply, the 4g was faster and more reliable.
