another +1 for Droid

although resolution has been nice, I have seen some bad things in my google news feed this week like this:

iPhone Beats Droid, Nexus One And Droid Eris In Touchscreen Performance

I read that as well and watched the video. I even downloaded the app they used in the test for myself and it all looks true. What is the practical implication of that though? You gonna draw a picture on your phone? :D I just don't see where that actually plays into

Multi-touch is flawless (sorry non-rooters cause where is that 2.1 update again? lol), scrolling is almost as good as the iPhone (gotta give apple props there), movies and other videos look incredible on the droid, text is crisp and easy to read (oops HTC...what happened to the N1 there?), and screen brightness is adequate (some have issues in daylight...I don't see the problem).

It also depends on the program that they USE for the drawing test. I tried the drawing test myself on 2-3 different programs and one was WAY better and more accurate than the others. If I was an apple man.. I would have used the shittiest for the droid, and the best for apple..

now im not saying that this is what happened (or even intentionally) but you have to beware.. some programs are built better than others.

People have been saying that the Nexus one's screen is unbeatable...oops! I played with one briefly and it didn't look bad...but I wasn't wowed either. The droid is the best phone on the market despite what any critics say...that's why I own one :)

You know, now that we have these awesome 2.1-based ROMs, I can honestly say that I feel like the Droid IS the best phone on the market at the moment. However, with the Incredible, EVO, and that Samsung (forget the name of it) phone coming...

Well the eris beats all of those i forgot the link but ill pull it out of my history soon. Thats why the eris wasnt on there there is no competition what the people said on the website

Here is a quote from phonearena.com:

The HTC DROID ERIS retains the same 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320x480 resolution that is found on Sprint
