Help Questions about reading memory on the N1.

Im trying to figure out how to read memory on the phone. Heres what i mean....
When in : Setting - Applications - Running services... The bottom of the screen shows a bar with memory readings:
Avail: 84MB+71MB in 16 Other:37MB in 4

What does that mean?
Is that good, bad?
New to Android so trying to learn as i go..lol.
Any help would be appreciated.
