Hi guys (and gals),

i thought i would start this thread because i don't want to feel like the only person that didn't receive the Desire! When do you expect to see your phone for the first time?

i'm hoping for Monday afternoon, but i reckon i'll see it tuesday...

I'm not too bothered though! Just jealous of the people that got them today!!

Well I'm just snapped off that they told me saturday and I've wasted my first day off for 2 weeks waiting only to be told it was always going to be tuesday
If it's not here tuesday the can ram it up their fizzer and I'll go ellsware

I was hoping for Saturday, but have been told it's Tuesday (I guess posted on Monday for next day delivery).
Luckily I'm off all week , but unluckily I won't get to play with it properly until Wednesday night (I'm off all week, but have to keep my 5yr old son occupied during half term. Add to that the fact that I'll be at the football Tuesday night means I won't get a real good look until Wednesday evening).
I suppose this all means I'll get to read everyone's 1st impressions & will know what to look out for when I do get it.

Nope, North West UK, upgrade is only due in August, although I considered an extra line on my account just so I could get one!!

August is a long time. Time enough for a better phone to be out at that point. I would wait if i were in your position.

Wanted an android phone for ages and thought that exactly... I'll get the G1, no I'll wait to see how they improve... so I waited and last August spotted a used G2 on the T-Mob site, blagged them on the tariff and a few months down the line I now want the Desire!!

Blokes and gadgets eh???

I just hope the G2 has got enough oomph to run the 2.1 update (if/when it arrives!)

I ordered direct with T-Mobile last Monday, I was hoping for it to be delivered on Saturday, but sadly, it didn't arrive.

I received the package on Saturday, it was the wrong phone.... After speaking to them I should be getting it Tuesday but I don't have my hopes too high...

Really sucky to be honest, the wrong phone was a t-mobile pulse....

I'm sorry, i actually chuckled when i read the "t-mobile puls" bit! How can they get it that wrong?!?

Tell me about it !!! I even had a call from them on Friday to say it would be delivered before 1 on Saturday and when it didn't arrived I phoned them and was told it was down for Tuesday ffs

Recorded delivery (which is how the phone is sent as we need to sign for it...) can be anywhere between 1-3 working days. You could be seeing it tomorrow! I'm hoping that i do!

I know, probably jinxed it!

I can't believe i've sunk to the level of browsing the royal mail website for good news! I just find it annoying that they don't give an estimated delivery date when you put in the tracking code.

Would make things a lot easier. But where's the fun in that eh?
